My husband and I ate here our first night in Pigeon forge. I had the shrimp skewers and he ordered the brisket. We had the golden nuggets as an appetizer. The food was great and our waitress was awesome. It was a great way to start our vacation.

Nice atmosphere. My wife and I had the fish and chips. Very good food although, a bit on the pricy side. Very nice restaurant just most menu items are high priced.

Good food and the best server ever… Named Colin. What a nice young man! Mac n cheese was very good, meatloaf was yummy. Nice salad with bacon and cheese.

Got the potato skin appetizer. Very dry and overcooked. The potatoes flaked everywhere. My husband and I shared the Mac and cheese bacon burger and it was dry with very little taste. The Mac and cheese seemed to be missing the cheese. The best thing about it was the bun. Even the side of fries were hard and dry. How do you mess up fries. The moonshine drink wasn’t too bad. The best part was the service, the waitress was very nice and sweet.

With the Unilocal reviews, I was a little skeptical seeing that they only gave this place a few stars, I was pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent, our waitress was tentative and knowledgable. My boyfriend got the bacon Mac n cheese burger with the sweet potato fries. After trying the sweet potato fries I had to order myself some since he wouldn’t share! The burger was really good also. I ordered the crispy chicken salad, it was huge! I ate every bite, including my fries. I would definitely come here again.

Service was lacking. The server acted as if she couldn’t care less that we were there, we had to ask what the special was and then it came out cold. The manager did comp our appetizer but it wasn’t a great experience.

We decided to go here after reading other Unilocal reviews. It was great! The Prosperity Sandwich was the delicious and huge! I took half of it home for the next day. The onions on the Klondike burger were the best my husband ever had! Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. We even were given a 10% discount for veterans!

It was first time at The Island. Service was decent and the food was pretty good. The sweet potato fries were really good. Make sure you get some extra of the sauce that comes with them. I had the Pimento Cheese burger and it was cooked perfectly and the bacon jam was fantastic. I was envious of the wife’s sandwich. I think it was called the prosperity sandwich or something like that.

Great place! Stopped in on a whim for supper and was not disappointed! Paul was our waiter and he was fantastic, knowledgeable, on it with refills and very friendly. Food was good I’d recommend the bison burger or mac and cheese burger. Will definitely be back next time we’re down this way!

My mom and I were in town trying to find a place open later after we finally arrived from a full day of travel. We settled on something at The Island and eventually stumbled on Timberwood. We make it a habit to ask the server about their favorite dish and ours said the ribs were by far the best he’d had ANYWHERE. We’re huge BBQ fans but usually don’t order ribs when eating out. We took the chance and were both SO glad we did this time around. The sauce was nothing special but the meat was flavorful and fell right off the bone. The baked beans and skillet potatoes were fantastic and our fried pickles were crisp on the outside and not at all too greasy on the inside. My mom ended up choosing the apple vinaigrette on her salad and was so impressed that she asked if she could buy a bottle of it(she couldn’t). Overall great service and awesome food. We’ll definitely be back!

Potato skins were extremely underdone with the bacon mostly just on one of them. Our food was brought out 30 seconds after the skins. Considering how quickly the food came out I expected hot chicken tenders and ended up with luke warm at best and onion on my husband’s burger which was the only thing he requested not be put on. Server was disinterested and not friendly. Will not go there again and would not recommended it to anyone

The staff was extremely friendly and really helpful when asked what guests favorites were on the menu. We ended up getting the bison burger and the bacon Mac burger. Both great, but on the drier side. He warned us to go lower on the bison since it tends to be drier but I should have gone even more. Overall the service was quick, the food was amazing, and I would definitely go back.

This place is located right on The Island, Pigeon Forge, right across the Big Wheel. At first we really wanted to eat at Paula Dean’s but the 2 hour wait was enough to discourage us as we were starving. We walked a little and found this restaurant ready to accommodate us. The waitress was super nice and attentive. She kept our drinks refilled and even brought us some extra french fries with our order. I ordered the honey glazed fried chicken with baked beans and mac n cheese. The chicken was boneless, tender white meat breaded and deep fried. It wasn’t crunchy but nevertheless it tasted good. The chicken was not overpowering but had just the right amount of seasoning and honey. It is definitely a nice plate to try. The baked beans were a little cold but they had good flavor. The mac n cheese was nothing out of the ordinary. My idea of good mac n cheese always involved a crusty, cheesy baked top but this one didn’t have that. Regardless, I was satisfied with my meal and if I was starving, I’d probably visit this place again.

We stopped in for dinner and the best part were the TV’s. The hamburger and grilled chicken sandwich’s were large but dry. I had the pork nacho’s and it only had a sprinkle of pork with a lot of BBQ sauce. The interesting part was that the cheese was on the bottom of the plate. I only ate about half since it was mainly chips and sauce. If you are looking for a place to have beer, chips, and watch sports, this may be the place for you.

Came for the bloody mary, which was excellent! Had the corn dodgers as an appetizer, omg, delish MUSTTRY! Our bartender David was on point and very knowledgeable, plus super friendly! I had the crispy chicken salad with homemade honey mustard, my husband had the fried bologna, both dishes were excellent! Must try the sweet potato fries!

Relatively nice dining atmosphere, decent food, decent service. Wouldn’t be a bad choice if you’re hanging out on The Island. Price is a tiny bit on the high point for the quality, but given its location that’s to be expected. Our group had the grilled chicken sandwich, fish tacos, and a simple house salad. Not much of an assortment, from the gist of it, it was overall fine fare. I found the chicken sandwich to be super tough though and almost impossible to cut in half, left overs of this sandwich produced a brick. Otherwise, the fish tacos looked delicious and I enjoyed my side salad, they even gave an extra dressing even though the salad was already dressed. You probably won’t need the extra as a side note. Wait staff in general was cheery, ours seemed bothered, but that may just be her personality. Really good sweet tea~!

After a very long, hot day, we decided to stop for a drink here. We sat on the patio, and only ordered drinks. Although the service was good, you could tell the server was not happy that she would not have a full meal service at our table. However, she remained all smiles, and we tipped her well for that. It was a cool atmosphere, people watching on the patio. We perused the menus, and the food looked good, but I cannot comment(as we didn’t eat). The drinks were average. My husband ordered the number 7 lemonade. His was really strong, but tasty. I ordered the elderflower mojito. It was missing mint, like, you know… a MOJITO should have. It wasn’t good. I guess it would be a good place to stop after walking the boardwalk for a while.

Came here when we couldn’t get into another nearby restaurant. It was a nice surprise. I enjoyed the Dutch chicken pot pie very much. The specialty cocktails were bourbon-centric so beware if you don’t like bourbon. The brisket sandwich and fries were good also.

My parents and I dined here tonight and it was wonderful. At first it was a little slow to get someone’s attention to seat us(even though it was dead), but once we sat down everything went great. Our waitress, Jessica, was absolutely fantastic and really made the whole experience a delight. I ordered their delicious fried chicken and my parents had the bacon burger and baby back ribs, which they both agreed tasted great. Their desserts were tantalizing, but unfortunately none of us had room to try any. The restaurant itself is located in an area called The Island, which has a pretty dancing fountain and other activities and shops to explore. Overall,(if I ever make a trip back here) I would definitely go again.
