Worst dining experience ever. Had dinner there Saturday 1÷30÷2016. Waiter piled empty glasses in front of us and left them there. Waiter spilled drinks on me and the guy in the booth behind me. Guy in the booth behind me got a visit from the manager and an offer to cover dry cleaning. I got wet pants, underwear, shirt, and undershirt. And not so much as a f##k you from the manager. After waiting a long time in wet clothes we pleaded with the waiter to please take our food order. When the dinner finally came, waiter set it a foot away from me. It was a piece of steak on a single plate. When I pulled it close enough to eat and burned my fingers he said«oh, plate hot». All of this, and the jackasses still charged me $ 130 for the pleasure of this god-awful experience. The food was probably good, but who knows. I left cold, wet, totally irritated and disrespected, and my fingers hurt. Not one enjoyable thing about the evening. There are many better places to eat around here, and better service can be had at a diner. Seriously, I feel like I was mugged and had $ 130 taken from my pocket. I will not return, and I suggest you keep looking.

Let me start off by saying my rating is based on the service and has nothing to do with the food. We arrived exactly on time for our reservation. It was my fiancé’s birthday. He was checking in with the employee at the front desk… and it took her 2 – 3 times to understand his name. She couldn’t find our reservation in her computer and had to use another computer to locate it? Who knows. Anyways, we were seated and our server was very attentive but also had a big problem hearing us and the table next to us. This was a Wednesday night… and it wasn’t busy. Although our server was a bit forgetful all of our food turned out okay. I’ll say the food was definitely the best part. Nothing to write home about but still good. I’ve been to this location twice and once to the Inner Harbor location. Inner Harbor definitely has better service. Not sure what’s going on with this one…

I absolutely love Ruth’s Chris steak. Preferably the 16 oz Ribeye. Yes, I like big steaks! However, the sides are average. Customer service at this location has always been great to me.

I have been a regular customer at Ruth Chris for many years and have always had a great experience. However, after dining at this establishment recently during my meal I was informed that the employee was unhappy working there. He told me about a bartender who had quit due to mistreatment by her coworkers. The server informed me of the male bartender who had worked there for many years had also quit in recent months. He continued explaining how a female server who had worked at this restaurant for over three years was physically attacked in front of her manager and then terminated the following day. I was saddened to also discover that another cocktail server had quit after being mistreated by management. I could no longer continue my meal after hearing what kind of animal house I was dining at. I paid my bill and told the server I would not be returning. The quality of food does not amount to anything if the employees are abused and mistreated. I will be taking my business else where and no longer funding this internment camp.

We have been to this restaurant many times before, however I think after this visit it will be our last. We had reservations for a booth in the bar and they confirmed it but wanted to put us in the main restaurant, then back in the patio, which has zero atmosphere. We finally got the table situation straighten out, except our waitress had a major attitude. I’m not faulting the waitress for the horrible service she obviously lacked training but I will fault her for attitude. The filet I ordered tasted great the couple we were with’s order was wrong. By the time they straighten that out we were finished eating. They were very busy in there but that’s not an excuse for poor service. Their staff is different every time we go in there. Food is 4 stars, service was ½ of a star.

Let me just start right in by saying I reserved a table in the bar a week in advance. Upon arrival I checked in and they couldn’t find my name. They called me 5 hours prior. Sat at the table the waitress was nasty. I have been eating out for 32 years I should have asked for a different person. Her nasty attitude was almost unreal. The food came out with so much salt I couldn’t eat it my friend waited for mustard and we asked 3 people still no mustard. I sound like a baby but all the other tables were being waited on etc. the manager came over and apologized. I left a normal tip but will not be back.

Overpriced, average quality beef. I Went there last night for a special dinner with family visiting from abroad. They arrived 40 minutes late so I already feel bad for the waitstaff. I read on the menu that the beef is USDA prime CORN-FED so I wasn’t super excited. Now a little disclaimer. I don’t eat steak at restaurants very often, and I don’t really have a good sense of how much I should pay for a good steak. I ordered the 16oz. ribeye(49 $) medium rare. But when the steak came, it was a little more well done than I’d expect for medium rare. I didn’t want to complain because I was already short on time due to my unpunctual guests. Anyhow the beef was on the dry side, the steak wasn’t cut to an even thickness to begin with, and the flavor was just average. Nothing made my eyes widen upon tasting. So here’s the reason why I gave my experience 2 stars. I go eat at restaurants because they can make good food that I can’t make at home. For 50 bucks on JUST a steak(for sides you have to pay extra), I’m expecting a fantastic steak that I can’t parallel at home. This steak was good, but not good enough to be worth 50 bucks even if it’s supposedly USDA prime. Maybe American beef is just low quality to begin with. Anyways, regardless of the reason behind this lackluster steak, all I know is my mouth was sad and my wallet even sadder.

The only time I come is during restaurant week, because otherwise the way my bank account is set up… That being the case the three-course restaurant week special, which is a fantastic deal at around $ 35 It included salad, a choice of 6oz filet, chicken, salmon, and chocolate cake for dessert. Some of the regular menu items are much more expensive. My girl was on me to take her someplace nice so I was so happy restaurant week came around. I would advise to definitely make a reservation during this time period because all the cheap guys like me take advantage of the lower prices lol. The parking lot is large and they have valet service if you don’t feel like walking. The layout of tis location is pretty odd. There are multiple levels with various table sizes, pretty hard to maneuver. I had the Caesar salad, which was… a salad. Not bad, nothing amazing. The filet was cooked perfectly, medium, served on a hot plate so it never got cold. The presentation of the meal was so so, pretty much just a steak on a plate which was fine by me. Sides were $ 2 off with the restaurant week special. We got the sweet potato casserole and it was more than enough for two to share. For me it served as my desert too. The chocolate espresso cake was what my girl wanted so its what we ordered. Needless to say she ate most of it. I didn’t mind it I am just not a huge chocolate fan. The service was pretty good. They had a large crowd of people in there with several large parties. I never had to look for out waitress and she was attentive. She was also very friendly and engaged us on conversation while explaining the restaurant week menu. If you haven’t been it’s worth a try.

We come here for special occasions or if we feel like having a fancy meal. We came here for our 2nd anniversary last weekend. We started with the Cesar salad, which was fresh and dressed perfectly. We started with some cocktails, the Manhattan Eastside and one I’ve since forgotten about. He was cooing over his and how great it was. Mine was whatever. Then we had the steaks– I had a filet and my husband had the prime rib. Both were cooked perfectly to our liking and oozing with the buttery flavor. It was delicious. We got the sweet potato casserole and my hubs had the julienne potatoes. The casserole was banging, my favorite. For dessert, my husband insisted on the bananas foster. Here’s where I’m docking two stars for the service. It probably should be three less, but it’s usually very good here. The runners and bus boys forgot one of the things we asked for. The server, Rose, was mediocre too. I expect a bit more when we’re paying 200 bucks for a meal. She would check in with us while she was wizzing by, which is kinda rude. Then, when we had the bananas foster made in front of us, she rushed through it. I get it. It’s annoying to make because it takes time away from the rest of your tables. She put all the ingredients in one right after the other. However, if you know anything about this dish, you have to let the butter and brown sugar caramelize a bit. Then, she threw the rum liquor in there immediately proceeded by the nanas and then the banana liqueur. When it was served to us, it was so disgusting and inedible because 1. The bananas were hard and 2. It tasted like pure alcohol. It was so gross. This dessert is supposed to be an experience and delicious. And it was neither. I had forgotten about the delicious steaks at this point because of how terrible the dessert was. We usually like this location. But we won’t be coming here for a long time.

Great food. Brooke was the best waitress. The jazz was a great accent to The atmosphere on the patio. I’ll definitely be back soon. By the way, happy hour menu is a hit. Great experience to say the least.

Chicken & tortellini soup, 16oz ribeye, greenbeans with roasted garlic, Ruth’s Chris chop salad & white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. And of course a whisky sour!

Still can’t get over the steak I was served… It was a ribeye on a sizzling white plate(ovenproof?). The ends where filled with fatty gristle and the entire plate was filled with grease on the bottom. What’s more, the entire outside of the steak was charred. Charred and incredibly crispy!?! I don’t get it. It’s like the steaks were over broiled. The amount of grease the steak was served in was so gross. I actually had to ask for a separate plate to eat it off of. I know the ribeye is a fattier cut but to serve it drowning in a plate of grease, YUCK!

The service here along with the food was really good. I had the salmon and my fiancé had a steak and we split the cheesy potatoes.

Have gone here a few times. Have always had an excellent experience with our server Joey. The presentation and quality of the steak is outstanding. All the sides are delicious. Only thing is this location doesn’t have the advertised specials that the Bethesda, MD or some other locations have since it is not a franchise. Would highly recommend.

I get to experience the wonderful Ruth Chris often for work! The staff is really wonderful and go out of the their way to provide and A+ experience. The food is pretty amazing, the steak cuts are fabulous and its so flavorful. The filet is okay but for flavor go with the New York strip. The sweet potato casserole is out of the world along with the berries and cream! This place is great for a fancy over the top(in a good way) meal. The environment is special and something that needs to be savored!

I know a lot of people give this place less than stellar ratings but our experience was good. It IS expensive! We dropped almost $ 500 for three off us but we did order high priced steaks. A few sides and a bottle of wine for the table ran the price up pretty fast. Service was really good in our experience. Our server was prompt, attentive, but never obnoxious or overshadowing. The staff overall was very polite and accommodating of my 81 year old mother on her birthday. Overall, the night was a hit. Been here a few times before but it’s been several years since our last visit. I would not hesitate to visit again.

I came for for restaurant week, my first visit ever. I was not disappointed. I had the three-course restaurant week special, which is a fantastic deal at around $ 35(an individual 8oz petit filet will run you around $ 41 at this location). It included salad, a choice of 6oz filet or(larger) chicken or salmon, and chocolate cake for dessert. Probably not exactly what I would have ordered from the full menu, but too good to turn down. I had the Caesar salad, which was… a salad. Not bad, nothing amazing. The filet was cooked perfectly, medium rare, served on a hot plate so it never got cold. The presentation of the meat is lacking though. Sides were $ 2 off with the restaurant week special, which brought the usual $ 10 down to $ 8. We got the potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach, huge portions that are plenty to share. The potatoes were good; nothing to complain about. I expected the spinach to be unremarkable because creamed spinach pretty much always tastes the same, but it was actually pretty fantastic– I suspect a large quantity of heavy cream is responsible, and it wasn’t soggy, the way creamed spinach sometimes gets. The chocolate espresso cake was not what I would have chosen for myself, but my dining companion loved it, even finishing off my portion. It was just too chocolaty for me– I think it would be offset well by some crème Anglais or whipped cream. But for the chocolate lovers, go for it. Everything is simply and classically prepared to great quality. Unfortunately, the wait staff was extreeeeemely slow, but that might have to do with the restaurant week rush. And if course, it’s prohibitively expensive under most circumstances, but most people already know to expect that. I will definitely be back to try another cut of steak, and the other sides and desserts.

Booked our company holiday dinner here a couple weeks ago because it’s a convenient location to our office. The event coordinator was friendly and great with the communication. She answered my many emails and a few phone calls in the two weeks leading up to the event, and I appreciate her service in that regard. Our group had about 12 people, and we had a room to ourselves as I had requested. The décor in the room was nice and festive and felt a bit like a formal study from an old-fashioned mansion. I was grateful to have our own room for our group because I’m pretty sure we would have been a bit rowdy and disturbing to other diners if we had been in the main dining area. We had one waiter and a couple«bus boys» or assistants who kept the water glasses filled. Our waiter spent at least 40 minutes coming in and out of the room & taking drink orders, etc, so he appeared to be busy, but he never once asked if we were ready to place our food order. I had to tell him to take the order because we had people starving. I’m pretty sure he was looking forward to knowing that his 20% tip was automatically included in the bill, so he was all about upselling the drinks. Most of the people in the group ordered steaks, which were tender, but the flavor was just okay. I had ordered the lamb chops, which pretty much tasted just like the steak my boyfriend ordered… it didn’t have the«lamb» flavor, and the mint jelly never came with it(not that I minded, but it’s part of the dish). We had several side dishes that we shared with others in the group(the sides are about $ 9 or so each, but they’re served sort of family style in portions large enough for 2 – 3 people). All of our sides were tasty, so that was good. I would say the food was good, but did not live up to the hype of a Ruth’s Chris reputation(this was my first time there). There was an online special offer that if you purchased a gift card(s) for over $ 250, you would receive an additional card in the mail for 10% of the total of what you purchased. I figured it was a decent deal because I knew we would be spending quite a bit that night. I ended up getting $ 900 in gift cards, but I should have bought a little more because we definitely exceeded that with our group, even with the $ 250 deposit at the time of reservation(which got applied to the bill that night). It took about 2 weeks, but I did receive the $ 90 gift card this week.
