Hard to be disappointed in a tasty, fresh, friendly Jersey pizza shop! This is our go-to for ordering pizza in Woodstown. Their cheesesteaks are pretty good, too!

When you walk into Joe’s you immediately get that«ahh Jersey pizza shop» feeling. Which is a very good feeling! Good pizza, good staff, good prices. They offer regular, Sicilian, and pan crust pies in traditional, white, and gourmet varieties. They also have pizza by the slice. Unless it’s lunchtime, I’d recommend ordering a whole pizza so it’s hot and delicious and steaming when you pick it up. A reheated hour old slice isn’t ideal here once you see and smell the fresh pizzas coming out of the oven! You can tell the difference. Just spend a few extra bucks and order a whole pie! I’ve only had the tasty pizza but they also offer a wide variety of sandwiches, subs, and dinner items all at a reasonable price. While they have a few tables to sit at they’re more of a takeout shop. They have a great pizza assembly line going so no need to worry about a long wait time. It’s so very clear they’re a family business that takes great pride in their work. Overall, in a pizza world that is becoming increasingly flooded with«wood oven» and fancy pants pizzas, it’s nice to know there’s still places like Joe’s out there.

My favorite part about Joes are the people! Love them, they really create that feeling of «everyone» is their friend. Food is good, no delivery of credit cards makes it a less convenient stop for us.

I don’t know how I found this place– it is in a tiny strip mall that does not face the highway. I saw the neon sign and checked the Unilocal reviews. Not many reviews but I was desperate. It was about 11 degrees F outside, near to closing, and I had been driving for hours. I ordered the cheesesteak sub and it was very good– hot steak and cheese and cold lettuce, tomato, and onion. I prefer my onions sliced paper thin and the bun warmed a little. But otherwise, very good. Since I was the only one there, I did not feel cramped. The guys working there were speaking to each other in Italian and they had the REI Italian TV channel on. It felt like home. People were constantly cleaning also. I will stop here again.

If you’re in Woodstown and you must consume food outside of a home kitchen, go to Joe’s. Located in the Acme parking lot across from Lawnside Cemetery, Joe’s serves up thin, greasy slices of cheesy pizza to the Salem County crowd. I remember when they first opened. It feels like yesterday, but it was likely more like at least a decade ago, right? Back then, their hoagies were also good. I just haven’t had them recently to vouch for them. The inside is cramped, but I assume you’ll get take out anyway.

Kind of cramped for eating in the restaurant, but great for takeout. I like everything they make: pizza, hot & cold sandwiches, wings, etc. Excellent white pizza, too.

Good pizza, and I’m not usually a huge pizza fan. Prices are good, service is fast and friendly and portions are generous. We try to stop in whenever we’re out and about in the Woodstown area. 12⁄2014 update: Have to add that, after five years in the area, Joe’s is still our go-to place for great pizza. There’s no need to order extra sauce and/or cheese at Joe’s because it comes standard. They’re consistent; their pizza is always excellent and their prices are very reasonable. They always extend a warm, friendly greeting and a sincere thank-you without being gushy. Once we discovered Joe’s Pizza in Woodstown, we stopped looking!

Have been stopping here for a few slices over the last year or so. Nice cheese and sauce pie, and their white w/broccoli and tomato is also good. The guys behind the counter are always friendly, and great with kids when they come in with their parents.
