We were there in early June and we loved it. The onion rings and fried mushrooms are to die for. My husband had the pulled pork and he said it was the best he had ever had. We will definitely will be back.

The owner chaz is an awesome guy to talk to. Trust his recommendations and you will not regret your decision. Wish he was closer so I could go here more often! Overall you will love the hospitality and food!

The best find in town! Three of us came here and the smoke Bologna, Ruben, and fried chicken club were amazing! The pulled pork fries were also magical.

Great place! No foodie snobs here. Made me a Rueben the way I like ‘em without Swiss cheese or Rye bread. Don’t knock it till you try one with Pepper Jack on Chibata! Either way, the meat was lean, tasty and plentiful! Try ‘em, you’ll like ‘em!

This is a find! Everything is home made and delicious! Favorites are the Reuben with cole slaw instead of kraut and the smoked meatloaf sandwiches. Also, the Patty Melt is to die for.

Perfect every time, always friendly, and always, always delicious beyond description. The owner Chazz and his cook know what they are doing. Only negative thing to say is that they aren’t located closer to where I live! Haha

We were blown away by the quality of the food and service that came from this establishment. It does not look like much from the outside, but they serve 5-Star quality food. Great food, great value, great small town atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Loved! Very cool place. Old filling station, all outdoor seating. Glad we got there when we did, because he turned off the open sign after we ordered. I got the Black and Bleu burger with fries, my husband got the Memphis Pulled Pork sand which and loaded baked potato salad. My burger was perfect. Perfect temperature, perfect amount of toppings. Drooling thinking about it. And I love free cut fries. My husband said his was good, but wish he had ordered something else. The potato salad was soooooo good. All and all, pretty happy and can’t wait to go back.

Did not live up to the reviews. Pulled pork was tasteless. Salad greens were rotten. Did not get dressing with my salad. Fry order was wrong. Waited 40 minutes for this incredibly disappointing meal. Not recommended.

I ordered the pulled pork skillet with fresh jalapeños. The seasoning was spicy and spot on! All of the seating is outside but the weather made it the perfect day to eat outside. The gentleman that served us was so friendly! We will definitely be back.

I’m looking for excuses to come back to pilot point to eat here… We came from a mud run 5k and found this place on Unilocal an decided to give it a shot. It’s just a building with a kitchen and outside patio. Don’t let that fool you though, the food that comes out of that shack blew my mind and everyone with me. I got the special, the smoked meatloaf club. Now I know you’re thinking, «meatloaf?! Meh… Not a huge fan». Slap yourself and order it anyway, because never have you had a better tasting, smokey flavored, party in your mouth, moist bite of meaty goodness. This monster stacks 2 slices of this magical loaf in a ciabatta bun with a serious slice of cheddar, grilled onions, and some of their excellent BBQ sauce. I remember the first bite and was wrapped in bliss only interrupted by having to pick up the second half. The sweet potato fries looked pretty standard, but the jerk seasoning was a nice touch and makes them unique Everyone else had a similar experience with their orders, which was evident as the plates were set and the deafening silence was not quite outdone by the sound of chewing. We will be back.

Eat here. EAT.HERE.NOW. Do not delay. Do not be blown away by the outdoor dining. This place has all the charm and great cooking of a locally owned small-town place. It’s sandwiches — he smokes his own meats! Pulled pork, hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. When the locals queue up for the food, you know it’s good. When the locals rave about the food as you’re standing in line, you know it’s great. The pulled pork, cole slaw, sweet potato fries and onion rings are amazing! Eat here!

So glad we hit this spot after Sharkarosa today. There were 8 of us and we came on a Saturday afternoon and had one of the best meals we have had since moving here from California. Amazing. Chance was a great host. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavor, cooked perfectly, reasonably priced. Highlights were the Country Chicken Salad, The Lime Cilantro Coleslaw, Onion Rings, Black and Bleu Burger(medium rare), homemade BBQ sauce. Everything was so good. We will be making this a «Go To» whenever possible. Thanks again!

I have to admit that a 75-degree, blue sky, spring day probably colored my impression of Magnolia’s food. But what a glorious time to sit at their tables and enjoy lunch. I had the meatloaf club(good, but too much) and my family ate pulled pork sandwiches(incredible, with amazing sauce). Serve-yourself fountain drinks are a plus, especially because the place is so busy that you probably won’t see the staff a second time. Seating is limited but even on a busy(tulip season) Saturday at lunchtime there was enough turnover to get seats. Onion rings were meh but the fries had a good(not spicy) seasoning. Every person there except us was local, and the guy running the place was calling them by name and talking with them as he hustled to get food out. The customers, too, were talking with each other, so it was clear they were local and regulars. That’s a good sign.

As I left Ray Roberts Lake, I opened up Unilocal to look for some good places for lunch. I think I found the perfect spot! This is an old gas station with friendly staff and only outdoor seating. There are only a few tables, but if you’re flexible to sit with others it can be a fun experience. I had a Memphis BBQ sandwich and sweet potato fries that were absolutely delicious. I have no idea how that much delicious food comes from such a tiny kitchen. I can’t wait to pass through town again!

This place is so fun, and I’m kind of surprised that Pilot Point has anything this good. I am half afraid that one day I’m going to come by and he’ll have packed up and moved some place trendier. We’ve been here probably a half dozen times now and each time it’s been fantastic. I’ve tried the grilled chicken club sandwich, the southwest burger(SOGOOD) the pulled pork cuban(AGAINSOGOOD) the pulled pork Memphis style, and just the pulled pork. The pork is legit. We took a Memphis native and his mom and they both approved. I asked the proprietor where he got the pork and he smokes it himself. It’s ridiculous. This last time(this past friday) I got the Southwest burger and it was full of peppers(bell and jalapeño) and cheese and the combination was delicious and spicy. We usually split an order of fries and the last few times we’ve been, he’s brought us extra fries cause he’s testing out different seasoning blends. You really can’t go wrong here. It’s a great place to stop after spending time at the lake or walking around the square. It’s all outdoor seating so either be prepared to sit outside(almost all the seating is shaded and he has fans) or get it to go. He makes it all fresh to order and it’s just him and a cook, so be patient, it takes a bit, but it’s worth it. Super friendly owner and really good food. I can recommend it.
