Excellent place to eat If your on the road and don’t know where to go. This place is very nice. Good coffee and good sandwitchs.

If I were rating this placed based on its competition, I would give it 5 stars because it is by far the best place to eat in Pinoconning. The service is friendly and attentive, the sandwiches are delicious and use the local cheese in creative ways. It is also clean and well-​maintained. A lovely place to grab a bite.

Friendly staff but the menu lacks. The salad bar is now up to $ 6.99 and there’s nothing on it that you can’t get at a fast food restaurant for much cheaper.

Wow such a cute place!!! Friendly service, 5.99 for a ½ sandwich and salad bar. Espresso drinks and great food! I even saw they had a mini bar…

A welcome alternative to small-​town diner fare — the salad and sandwich menu isn’t extensive, but there’s something for just about anyone (except perhaps any poor vegans who’ve inadvertently wandered into the Cheese Capital of Michigan). There’s also a trio of daily soups, a small salad bar that’s offered as a menu choice with a cup of soup, and… a pocket bar open for evening dining. When we visited my partner and I had, respectively, a Reuben and a California club (basic club sandwich with turkey and avocado, with a special herbed mayo dressing), and a cup of loaded baked potato soup. I can’t say it was the most delicious or creative sandwich I’ve ever had, but it was pretty darn good. (And you have a choice of about a half-​dozen breads to envelop your sandwich fixins’.) The soup was terrific. There’s patio seating too, for warm-​weather months. Prices are very reasonable. Pinconning is a struggling town on Michigan’s less prosperous Lake Huron side, so it’s good to see a restaurant succeeding here by offering something a little bit more «big city.»

I have to agree with the other posters — best place in town. A very comfortable and friendly small town atmosphere with big town style — good food, great service, and sophisticated menu that goes well beyond the standard local diner fare. I grew up in the area and have since lived abroad and in various large cities in the US (LA, NY, Austin, etc.), and was so excited to find this place on a visit back to MI a few years ago. I make it a point to stop in every time I come back on my annual trip back to Michigan — whether for lunch, dinner, of simply a hot cup of cappuccino on a cold day. Love this place!

This place is surprisingly good. A wide selection of freshly made sandwiches. Definitely worth checking out.

Definitely the best place for a finer fare in Pinconning. They carry a nice variety of micro-​brew beers, unlike most places in town.

Thanks to the previous review of this place in Unilocal,we decided to get off I-​75 at Pinconning Road rather than exist a couple miles later at US23 like we normally do. Good decision!
We were traveling and needed dinner, so we thought we’d try and find someplace local. The previous review actually said they were closed for dinner but it’s not true! This deli is open until 9pm every night and was a REALLY pleasant surprise.
In an area where good food would be a VERY long shot, this place does it’s best to deliver high quality sandwiches, soups, and salads in a modern coffee house type atmosphere. It’s spacious and has a great outdoor sitting area. The vegetarian options are slim (after all «Deli» usually means «lots of meat on bread») but their menu was fantastic anyway. As an extra bonus, local Pinconning Cheese is available on most sandwiches and, boy is it tasty! The food probably isn’t 4-​star quality by most standards, but because the quality was unexpected in this area, it earned an extra star as the best place around. As a side note, they also have a large room that can be used for bigger groups or parties.
The prices were very good (about $ 6 for a big deli sandwich) and the food was more than passable. Mostly, we were surprised to find a place like this in a small town like Pinconning. But, it’s apparently no secret… the place was crowded for dinner while the rest of the town looked semi-​dead.
We’ll absolutely make this a regular stop when we need lunch or dinner and are passing by.

It was a chilly day and I didn’t really need a big meal but had been told this was a good place to eat so I just came in and ordered a bowl of broccoli-​cheddar soup and a coffee. It was just what I needed to get me on my way with a warm tummy! If you’re in town, this is a good place for lunch, but they aren’t open late enough for dinner.
