Great atmosphere, filling & delicious food, attentive (& cute) waitstaff, & amazing drinks. Also, affordable! Lots of people enjoying themselves, everywhere around us laughter could be heard.
My husband had the broasted chicken & it was hot, juicy, & super flavorful. The cole slaw was creamy, fresh, & crispy.
I had the taco salad & the tortilla shell was fried to perfection– light & airy with the perfect anount of crunch. The lettuce was fresh, the meat was yummy.
The highlight was the Bloody Mary that we split. It came with a beer chaser & was reasonably priced. The Bloody Mary was garnished with an olive, peppercini, celery, pickle, prawn, & a meat stick! We practically were full from the drink before the food came!
Huge portions– split with a friend or plan on bringing home leftovers.

Stopped here for lunch while in town from the lake. Food was excellent! You can tell they don’t just throw frozen food on the grill. I had the chicken bacon and ranch wrap which was great! My husband had the broasted chicken which was super fresh and crispy! Will return if we ever come back through town again.

Went for lunch. Very friendly staff, very chipper, I was having a bad day they cheered me up, and the ham and cheese on rye was tastier than I would have expected.
I had an appetizer and the sandwich came before I was done but otherwise nothing to complain about.

Chubby’s is a great place to grab a drink or to watch a game! Many tvs to watch whatever game you are trying to catch. Good food too!

Pros
— Large portions (see the restaurant name)
— One of the few games in town for restaurants and no complaints from me on the food. I’ve only ever had sandwiches there though.
— Centrally located in Pine City, take exit 169 from the south on 35w, turn left at 6th street light and it’s right at the stop sign.
— Credit cards accepted.
Cons
— When you open the bathroom door to the mens room, the whole interior is on display. Who ever designed the placement of the bathrooms in the restaurant must have been planning for another type of business; directly behind the bar in the middle of the restaurant.
— Can get a little hick w/​some of the locals in the bar area. But a small town feel nonetheless
— Service is mediocre.
