I agree, it’s a well-stocked, well run hardware store and the prices aren’t bad either. I thought the owner’s name was Brent, but as he’s usually not been there when I have, I suppose I could be wrong, or maybe he has a partner. At any rate, though I don’t live upcountry, having owned small retail businesses myself, I frequent them whenever possible and especially if they’re independent, that is not part of any franchise or chain, and in my opinion this one’s a winner so I go there if I’m passing through and need something and have even been known to make the trip there as the smaller store can be much more convenient and certainly less time consuming then trekking around in Lowe’s.

For being upcountry this hardware store has everything you need! It is so nice not to have to drive far to get hoses, paint, or even keys made! Daryl the owner is always helpful and so kind every time I go in his store!

This is a small hardware store in a small town in the Sierra Mountains. This store came in and filled a void following the closure of the Pine Grove Ace Hardware next door. Lowes is 10 miles down hill as is Jackson True-Value. Depending on your vehicle’s mileage, that’s a gallon of gas round trip. When you need something basic, in a hurry, it is well stocked for its small size. The owner’s are friendly and helpful. It is not a Lowe’s — Home Depot — HD Supply substitute, it is a hardware«7-Eleven». It serves a very useful service in this neck of the woods. I wish them the best.
