Jalapeño burger is off the hook. I ate it at the bar upstairs, amazing view. Polite service.

Walked in, walked out. The place stank of really, really old grease. I’m getting my food poisoning somewhere else. Thanks.

yeah — NO… gross food, no choices, flies everywhere & no choice to sit inside. Drive up on the bike was cool — drive down was good too but that is no destination place.

I wanted to like this place… really. It’s in such a great spot for those of us that motorcycle and need a lunch stop/butt rest. I have eaten lunch here twice… the first days within their opening two years ago and the last time was today. Tables inside and out. Interesting décor. yellow walls, pine paneling with purple drapes and white floor molding which shows every scuff. Oh yeah… and purple table clothes… and a dead orchid on the table. Interesting menu… BBQ and chinese… or their attempt at it. My best advice… don’t eat here. Good for beverages but that’s it. Greasy hamburgers, fries and pulled pork/BBQ but not much else to offer. Only hot cold sandwiches. No salads on the menu. However, I overheard them mention they would make a BBQ chicken salad so I ordered it. Yuck! Bland lettuce, diced tomatoes and BBQ chicken, which was very greasy… covered in MELTED cheese which wilted the lettuce. I’m not sure if they pan fried or deep fried the chicken first but it was gross and tasted very oily. No other vegetables… how tough it is to shred carrots, purple cabbage and, slice radishes and actually offer something comparable to other places? The women’s restroom is dirty and all the locks/latches are broken. Doesn’t take much to keep a restroom in good order and clean does it? I suspect the bar upstairs does a killer business but they need a new chef and menu. How difficult is it to offer decent sandwiches and salads? Marginal service. The young man is nice enough but not overwhelming. Customer service and speed are not his forte. An example is my iced tea was empty for 10 minutes before he came by to offer me a refill when my partner and I were the only 2 people in the place. He would rather talk in the kitchen with the chef and shoot the breeze, which we could clearly overhear. He brought me a refill and then saw my partners glass was ½ full(as it was before he offered to refill my tea) so he offers to refill my partners glass… making a second trip. You cannot afford to do this in a fast paced food business so I cannot imagine what the place is like when it’s busy.
