This is such a cute restaurant in a quaint little town! It’s filled with antiques, which creates a charming ambiance. Food quality and service were GREAT.

Outstanding place for be Brunch. Not a lot of choice but all outstanding which means this place is the real deal. Classically trained chef providing excellent food. I had steak and eggs. Sound simple right? Well when you can cut the most well seasoned and perfectly prepared with a butter knife you know the meat is high quality and the chef has got skills. Sauces on all are dishes were phenomenal. Portion sizes were substantial and this ended up a two meal Sunday as we were so full. I can’t wait to return and I would without a doubt use these folks for catering. Great job!!!

Excellent food. We stopped in on a Sunday for brunch. Very cute place. Portions were huge. Even received specialty scones before our meal!

Lovely place, pet friendly, treated our pet with so much love bringing her cookie and water and checking on her all the time. The pastries were delicious and great coffee as well. We’ll definitely come back here when visiting the city again! I strongly suggest to try the almond and blueberry muffin — it was the best I’ve ever had

Cute little gem of a place. They had 2 vegan options on the menu which was great to see! A vegan mock tuna and a vegetable soup. I had half sandwich sans the bread and the cup of soup. Both very nice. Service was phenomenal, our server I believe was Alan. The unsweet peach tea was the star of the meal(can you tell I’m not from the South!).

We arrived early for brunch with only a couple people seated and we were immediately led to the back and seated by the kitchen. We watched numerous tables that arrived after us get their food first. It took 50 mins to finally get the steak and eggs I order. I asked for medium rare and got a very rare steak too much so for my liking, I sent it back and waited another 15 mins to get a steak that was just okay. The whole time we could hear the chef yelling at all his workers, our sever apologized sincerely but it really wasn’t his fault. As we left a different server waved us goodbye and we told her we were never coming back and she just laughed. This was over all an extremely uncomfortable experience.

This is review of service only. Been waiting 30 minutes, no food yet. Had to request for server to take order. See servers in back eating and talking. Not impressed.

50 minutes after seating to get sandwich, 12 minutes to enjoy it, which was good although the brie seemed to be hidden, then 5 minutes to inform owner of poor service. He never apologized but stated how his sandwiches we’re made to order. Still doesn’t explain how 2 tables seated after us got their food first. It was one turkey & brie sandwich, how difficult can that be?

We had a great lunch here yesterday! The restaurant was very busy and we had a very brief wait until you’re seated at a cute table for three. The server came over very quickly and we ordered the mozzarella salad lunch sandwich of the day and a hamburger. The fruit arrived promptly and everything was delicious. The hamburger was perfectly could delete cooked with a wonderful seeded bun and a sandwich of the day with prosciutto, tapenade and mozzarella was a winner. Added bonus, the ladies room décor is so charming!

I’ve been here before and loved the place. Great food, service and selection. But, the other night wife and I made reservations for what we thought would be a great evening. We ordered a nice bottle of Pinot Noir($ 28) and each ordered the Pork selection with asparagus, carrots on a bed of creamy grits. We also ordered a nice salad that we split. Their breads are outstanding and we ordered two to take with us. The meal arrived and looked just great. We tasted the pork and while delicious, it was cool. So was the asparagus and everything else. I notified the waitress and she said she’d let the chef about it. After 5 minutes or so, she was waiting on another table. Another waiter came over and asked how things were. I told her how disappointed we were about the meal. She smiled and said we could have free coffee or dessert. The bill was over $ 100, so we got nothing for plenty of money. I think the chef/owner dropped the ball and staff didn’t or couldn’t react. Mistakes can be made, but how you react is the real key. They lost us as customers and we’re sad about that as they are capable of much better service.

This review is based on service only. A group of friends and I walked into this beautiful bakery and asked a server if they were currently open. Our server was Charles. It was between lunch and dinner. He gave us a funny look and said, ummm, I guess. He said they were serving alcohol and desserts. We sat down and he handed us multiple menus. Then he comes back in about 2 minutes and asked us what we wanted. We said we needed more time and he made a nasty face. We were obviously bothering him. He kept rolling his eyes at us and making nasty faces when he was finished talking to us. We all wanted to order a dessert, but we had absolutely no desire to give this place any more of our business. It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

Wow, wow, wow. Sooo good. I drank tea out of china, with my favorite Savannah Honey Bee Co. Had beautiful artisan breads, homemade hummus, perfect soups, pastries the like I’ve only seen in Paris, and perfect little sanwhiches. Yes it’s lighter fair, but you can fill up on the best food you will ever eat and omg wait till you hit the desserts. I won’t talk of them here. You’ll just get upset that you can’t have one right now. Yum. :)

The cakes and tees were good, but pricey. 1st time here. The staff was nice except for the owner. The worse experience right before we left. We just asked a question to the server and the owner interrupted and told us that his employees don’t have time to be chatting with us since they were preparing for a wedding. If they were, they should have closed the place and don’t let anybody come in at all. He made us feel bad. Worse experience ever!!! I will definitely won’t come back here again. I don’t want to put any of my money in this guy’s pockets no matter how good the food was! Completely rude and disrespectful!

Incredible rustic bakery with amazing fresh food. We had the privilege of meeting the owner/baker and chat with him. Even though he was closing up he gave our twin toddlers a sample of the amazing olive loaf. We returned the next morning for breakfast and were very pleased. Great coffee and tea and of course baked goods. Couldn’t ask for more.

If you visit Calloway Gardens, you MUST go to Pine Mountain, Georgia and eat here! The restaurant is charming and the food is excellent. It was quit an unexpected surprise to find this restaurant in such a small town. They specialize in fresh, locally grown and raised ingredients for all of their menu offerings — grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, cage-free eggs, chemical-free fruits and vegetables, artisan-made cheeses and breads. Their menus change often to suit seasonal availability. The artisan bread is amazing! I took a loaf of the sunflower rye home and froze slices to eat later. I now wish I had bought more! The restaurant does lose star for service. Although the food is amazing, the service is very inconsistent. The first time we went, we met the owner and had awesome service. Unfortunately, the times we visited after that, the service was pretty bad, which definitely takes away from the dining experience.

During our recent visit to Pine Mountain GA we found this little place and stopped in one morning to pick up some pastries for a day trip to Atlanta… cookies, croissants, etc. The croissants were my particular favorite. They were excellent! But everything was really good.

Great place that delivers a warm welcome, tasty homemade foods, and quality that is almost impossible to find in Georgia outside of the major metro areas(read: Atlanta). We always stop here for a meal and some pastries/bread while visiting Callaway Gardens. They will make sandwiches to go if you are looking to picnic. Make sure to reserve for dinner because their schedule is slightly unpredictable.
