Love the pie when it isn’t burned(no, their burnt line is not an excuse). The wings are great and so are the meatballs, so they definitely deserve at least 4 stars. The knock is for sometimes overlooked pizza and the gross sweet peppers topping. I like peppers, but cut then thin please…

I have been to this location once before the visit I’m writing about and I can officially say the Coral Gables location is way better. When I visited this week it was beyond freezing. I know Miami restaurants can be cold, but this was unbearable. We asked for it to be made warmer and after being told they would adjust the air we were later told they couldn’t make it any warmer because it has to be freezing for the ovens. I don’t really get this concept. If that was the case wouldn’t the ovens be warming the restaurant up? I can’t imagine people don’t complain about this all the time. I mean it had to be like 60 degrees or below. They even moved us to what they said was a warmer table and it was actually colder. As for the food I understand there are signs all over the restaurant that say their pizza is «well done,» but well done does not be burnt to a crisp. I would be shocked if anyone likes their pizza crust black. Worse even the calzone was black as well. I get that they are deep dish style, but I’ve had plenty of pizza in their attended style that isn’t black. The Coral Gables location certainly doesn’t char their crusts to the point that it looks like you are eating charcoal. So for consistency sake I can say this location doesn’t know how the chain makes the pizza. Lastly one of the strangest parts of the visit had to be my trip to the restroom. There wasn’t only NO toilet paper in the ladies room, the toilet paper holders were even removed from the walls. Not sure how anyone went a whole shift that day and didn’t realize it. It’s unsanitary not to have toilet paper in restrooms. I worked at lots of restaurants and all I worked at required restrooms to be checked once an hour. This would have been easily detected. My advice is stay far far away from this location. I know I’ll never be back.

Maybe it’s just because I’m from up north, but this pizza wasn’t as great as I expected. First of all, they encouraged me to get the cauliflower pizza. I was suspicious but up for an adventure. Brought it back to the family and they said it was the worst order ever. It was suuuuper salty and had no sauce!!! The crust was fine but after two slices I was disgusted. Only good thing was the service seemed fast and helpful but we won’t be back.

This restaurant serves my favorite pizzas in all of Miami hands down. Their flavor, their options, their cheeses, sauces,… just everything about them is delicious. And it doesn’t stop there, their wings are amazing! If you go, you have to try the netball and ricotta pizza as well as the white pizza but ask for pepperoni on it. If you’re a pepperoni fan, you’ll thank me for this recommendation which I got from another pizza lover such as myself.

The more I go to this place, the more I am impressed. The service is quick, food is delicious and the ambiance is always energetic. My girlfriend and I really enjoy the ½ price beers on Monday and Tuesday. I always like to try new places, but I also am a fan of consistency. With Anthony’s, you always have a consistent moderately priced pizza. I will be back soon. Probably next week.

The food was great! Really enjoyed the pizza, so much I couldn’t wait to eat it and failed on taking the picture. Love the thin crust which makes it enjoyable to eat, although I was too stuff to try. I tried the meatballs which were very yummy and the salad which I truly enjoyed. The dressing that the salad was tossed in was very tasty. Lunch service was quick and the fact that we sat right down when we got there made it more appealing for my first visit. Can’t wait to come back to try more stuff off the menu.

This is a great place to have pizza and beer! I had the Cider beer and my husband had a Cigar City. We ordered the meatball/ricotta cheese pizza(really the best thing on the menu!) Everything was at the table within 15 min… fire roasted and everything! This is definitely a nice place to grab a quick bite(lunch or dinner) and hang out to watch a few games. They have tvs all around the outer walls and a bar that serves food. They also serve salads big enough to share. Don’t come here counting calories tho!

First time eating here. The food was good and the service was decent. Their wings were excellent — much healthier than other wings because they are grilled and have no sauces, just yummy caramelized onions. I loved their house salad — fresh and delicious with a nice light dressing. My nephew loved his pizza, the meatball ricotta. I would totally go here again. And the prices were good too.

Excellent neighborhood pizza place. The way is cooked makes the dough crispy and flavorful. Whatever toppings you order, they are always served abundantly. You must try their chicken wings and the huge meatballs. Love the easy going atmosphere a little too dark at times but the service and the food are always consistently great.

Pizza-ok. Didn’t really like that there were very little options besides the pizza. The appetizers were meatballs were split between my party and we ordered the large. The pizza was also burnt I would recommend somewhere else for pizza.

SO I love Anthony’s! I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their pizzas and their chicken wings are THE best. The atmosphere is fun and it’s loud, which makes it a good place for families. The service there is mostly phenomenal.(I did have one waitress once who sucked.) Zach(or Zack?) is pretty much the best waiter EVER.

Delicious pizza and wonderful service! Our waitress was very attentive and even gave us some freebies to try since it was our first time! The meatballs there are delicious! Be aware that the pizza’s bottom and crust are burnt(I think that’s their style). We aren’t accustomed to that but we still enjoyed the pizza, and are looking forward to eating here again!

Yum! This place is so delicious! This is a regular spot for my tennis buddies. We were supposed to play tennis, but it was raining. We ordered the salad with tuna on top. That was my first time having it and i thought it was excellent. I also ordered the eggplant, which is always fantastic. The eggplant is so thin that you don’t even realize you are eating something healthy. We also ordered the wings that are covered with onions. We didn’t order it this time, but I love the cauliflower pizza and also the Paul and Young Ron pizza is to die for!!! The service is always great and on point! 5 stars for a 5 star restaurant!

I love Anthony’s. I first tried them years ago when I was 19 – 20? Been about 6 – 7 years now. This is the first pizza that I ate that wasn’t fast food(pizza hut, papa johns, dominos). They have since set the standard for pizza. Anthony’s is one of my favorite pizzas so I can happily give them a 5 out of 5. *I’m in love with the Paul and Young Ron pizza. Every time I’ve eaten it it’s an easy 5 out of 5. Meatballs, sausage, sweet peppers, and ricotta cheese. To me this is the best combination on a pizza, ever. It’s so meaty and full of ingredients. The meats, ricotta, and peppers all add different levels of flavor to the pizza. I can’t get enough of it. I’ve also tried: — Philly Cheesesteak Pizza: Comes with thinly sliced Top round with caramelized onions. This pizza was also very hearty, 5 out of 5. — White pizza: With ricotta, mozzarella, and romano cheese. This pizza was not as hearty as the others. It was a rather quick eat because it didn’t have as much on it. The flavors were very good though. — Coal Oven Roasted Chicken Wings: On a previous occasion I ordered a large order of wings and they were one of the best wings I’v ever tasted. They come with caramelized onions and some Focaccia Bread. The wings don’t come with a sauce. They’re not like wings you’d get at buffalo wild wings or wing stop(also they’re not fried). But they are greasy and pair extremely well with the onions. I’m a huge fan of caramelized onions so I found this paring to be awesome. The Focaccia bread is a nice addition to balance out the salty and greasy flavors from the onions and wings. The bread is dense and soft. On my most recent visit I did find the wings to be a bit overcooked and a bit charred on the outside. They weren’t as good as I remembered to them to be on my first occasion.

I’ve been to Anthony’s a few times and it is seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had! It’s coal-fired so the crust is crispy and slightly burnt and the cheese/sauce is amazing. Can’t say enough good things about it. The service is great too. Everyone is really friendly and courteous always coming around to make sure you are enjoying the food. Nice ambience too. Highly recommended!

I will preface this by saying I am not a fan of burned bottom aka«well done» coal fired pizza just to be fair. Both times I have gone here it was because someone else chose the restaurant. Staff: They are friendly & attentive which is why I gave the two stars I did. The Food: This is the ONLY pizza restaurant I have EVER seen that doesn’t sell Garlic Rolls. WTF?!? Who decided it was a good idea to burn wings & cover them in onions? No thanks. The Pizza isn’t bad but it’s swimming in grease & not very flavorful at all aside from the little help the toppings offer. Drinks: They don’t serve fountain drinks so I hope you don’t drink a lot of soda either. If you are a beer drinker they did have several craft choices to choose from so you are in luck there. Will I return? I highly doubt it.
