I can not WAIT until this place reopens. My husband and I stumbled in here their first week being open and were immediately hooked. We have never been disappointed between the service, and amazing food. We try to get different items but our hearts(and stomachs) always lead us back to the short ribs over prosecco truffle risotto and osso bucco style lamb shank over polenta! Being denied these dishes for the last nearly 6 months has been torture!

Stopped in for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised! Quality ingredients well presented! I had the«Warm Nicoise salad with beef» Service was good but it was not full. Wines are mostly from Chili and Argentinian!

I knew I would like this place from the moment I walked in, it was dim, not crowded for lunch time, and the server greeted us immediately. Cecilia was very friendly and attentive, she was the only server in the restaurant and we didn’t have to call on her for anything. The menu is perfect, not too big and the pieces are fair. As usual my bae went with the Angus Skirt Steak w/REAL mashed potatoes which she loved! It’s a pretty big portion as well. I was in the mood for pasta so I had the Pappardelle with Grilled Chicken Cremini Mushrooms, Crispy Prosciutto Di Parma, Demi Glaze and a Touch of Cream(minus the mushrooms, I don’t like mushrooms) it was unbelievably delicious! Perfectly cooked pasta with delicious tender pieces of chicken, also a pretty hearty portion. For dessert they offered about 5 varieties of goodies, but we went with the Orange/Coconut flan and OMG! I’m glad we did! It was the perfect ending! If I had to say anything negative about this place it would probably be the bread they serve, it was sooooooo hard! And the butter was frozen. But the food and service was so good that I would definitely return without a doubt.

We came in with no reservation, and they accommodated us well. Next time, I’ll try to reserve. It was delicious but a little too heavy. The scallops with risotto were to die for. The mozzarella cheese appy was very good but not incredible. The sauces could’ve been a little more creative. The morcilla was good but I’ve had better… good price though($ 3.50). The crepes with dulce de ledge were a little over cooked but they did not skimp on the dulce de leche… yum! Next time, I’ll order them a la mode. We will definitely be back.

What a hidden gem! I could’ve easily continued driving by this place by without looking twice. The place was packed on a Monday(good sign). Luckily we had reservations. We started off with an appetizer. The Provoleta was not very pleasing to the eye, but it was definitely tasty! I like my Provoleta to somewhat keep its shape and not melt completely on the plate. But then again, that’s just me. I have no complaints about the taste. The caramelized onion on top is EVERYTHING! Every other dish ordered had a better appearance and taste was equally good. I had the special of the night which was a New York steak strip with a creamy porcini sauce on top served with a side of some kind of mashed potatoes with leek and some other delicious stuff. The steak was good, but the potatoes were DELICIOUS! they were served in a cute carved out pumpkin I think. So «A» in taste and in appearance. For dessert we tried the Dulce de Leche Crepes and the most popular dessert on Unilocal,Dulce de Leche Cheesecake. In all honestly the crepes were a MILLION times better. Note that this is only for people that have quite a sweet tooth like myself :). Their crepes are served with a crunchy caramel on top which turns it up a notch from any old crêpe. They have actual Dulce de Leche as a filling and not a dulce de leche mousse like the cheesecake. It was a good experience, but I would have wanted the waiters to be a bit more attentive. We had to constantly remind them to refill our glasses with water and our table wasn’t cleared quickly between courses.

The best beef I ever ate in U.S., And I really mean it!!! Not even in any other fancy and expensive place you will eat something so good than here. It is my favorite restaurant in South Florida. It is a fusion between Argentinean and Italian. Pasta is awesome here too! You must try the pear and Gorgonzola ravioli… And the service is excellent! Don’t forget to try their Dulce de Leche cheesecake! Two thumbs up guys!!!

I just walked in here with my husband and 62 year old mother. Waitress didn’t as much as even look at us. I asked«are you open?» — she rolled her eyes, sighed and said«yes»… She pointed at a dirty table and said«you can sit there if you want» and kept going about her business. Another much friendlier waitress came out. Asked us to have a seat but by that point we were so put off by the previous waitresses disgusting attitude we got up and left. Not without telling her how rude she was. HORRIBLE service. Never ever care to set foot in this place. I have a demanding stressful job managing global accounts working 50 – 60 hours a week and never in my life would I ever give a client of mine such nasty attitude. Let alone a new person who walks in. Shameful. Save your money and go elsewhere where they will treat you with respect and appear happy to see you walk through those doors.

You can definitely feel the love in every bite. I had bookmarked this place some time ago. I did my research, I saw all the yummy pics and read some of the reviews, so one afternoon after going to a Tag Agency around the corner we opted for a casual lunch at Del Sur, I swear everything on the menu sounded amazing, I was more worried about taking pics and taking it all in and let my boyfriend make all the choices. He did not disappoint, this is what we had : Creamy polenta with stewed tomatoes, fresh arugula and white truffle oil. It was just perfect, I love the smell of truffle, and when you combined all the ingredients in one bite, it was heaven. Definitely a must try. Blood sausage… Mmmmmm… Because I’m a sucker for it… It was my favorite app we ordered. Pulled lamb baked empanada, so good too, my boyfriend’s favorite. And also we had the fresh and smoked mozzarella with honey and preserves, it was a hit also. It is kinda of hidden in plain sight, we got there in the middle of the afternoon and because the glass doors are tinted it was hard to tell if it was even open. Go and check it out I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Went this past weekend for a date night with my hubby and had a great experience! It is a small and intimate location but the food is superb. We had reservations and were immediately seated. Our server was top notch. She had great recommendations, was knowledgeable about the entire menu, our drinks were always filled but she never felt intrusive. I asked for a wine bottle recommendation and they steered me in a great direction. There were many foreign wine selections with which I was not familiar, but if their recommendation was any indication, they have put together a very nice mid-priced wine list. My DH and I decided to try something from apps to dessert. Portions are very generous so we ended up with food for the weekend! For apps we ordered the meat empanada, roasted lamb empanada and the provoleta. The roasted lamb empanada was by far the tastiest dish though all were excellent. The empanadas are baked and have just the right proportion of meat to dough. The lamb was very fresh and in no way was it «gamey». The provoleta had a twist with caramelized onions and a fresh tomato salsa on top. The provleta can easily be shared among 4 people but the empanadas are pretty much an individual serving. The DH got the churrasco with mashed potatoes while I ordered the pancetta wrapped scallops with risotto. Both were delicious! The scallops and risotto had a delicate but rich flavor. Scallops were perfectly cooked and the pancetta was salty and crispy. The risotto was a bit under, but it was my fault for not requesting that it be cooked a bit past al dente. The risotto was very rich, buttery and cheesy. A little goes a very long way! The churrasco was tender and flavorful. The chimichurri was a garlicky and herbacious complement to the meat. The mashed potatoes were a fluffy heaping and comforting accompaniment to the steak. Both dishes could easily be shared if neither person is too big an eater — especially as I recommend saving room for dessert! We ordered the warm bead pudding with vanilla ice cream. Yummy yummy. It was a satisfying end to a delicious meal. We look forward to coming back :)

The epitome of the hole in the wall, you’d likely pass by Del Sur on US-1 without even knowing it existed. Tucked between a thai restaurant and a questionably tasteful clothing shop, it is easy to bypass. Don’t make that mistake though, as it truly is something special. Parking is also available in the back if the front lot is full. The interior is intimate, kind of a cozy New York style bistro that is simultaneously simple and tasteful. The lighting is usually quite dim, making it a romantic spot for a date, or a quiet dinner with friends. I’ve never had any meal other than dinner, so I cannot vouch for their lunch. However, in the evening, it’s a great place to come for cheese and wine, or for an entire meal. I’m not much of a bread eater(I know this is blasphemy to many), but even I partake in their crusty french baguettes slathered with a heaping serving of their garlicky beans(I think lima) concoction. We always go through a full little cup of them, if not two or three. The provoleta is a must do for me, as I find the salty cheese drizzled with balsamic, and piled with caramelized onions and fresh tomatoes absolutely irresistible. When I come with a group, I typically suggest the table gets multiple orders as sharing this with one person is hard enough for me. Another great option is their burrata with speck. When you’re ready to move on to the entrees, Del Sur works hard to impress. I usually get the shrimp risotto which comes topped with sun dried tomatoes and caramelized onions. The risotto is perfectly al dente, and but the creaminess is cut nicely with the acidity from the tomatoes, the sweetness of the onions, and the fresh seafood. I’ve also had the short rib champagne risotto, and found that to be quite good as well, although I still think the shrimp one is my forerunner. Alternatively, the homemade pastas are heavy hitters in their own right. The pumpkin ravioli in a butter sage is one of the best I’ve tried anywhere, with each little purse packed with silken pumpkin flesh. Also, the pear and gorgonzola cheese ravioli in a marsala wine sauce with figs is sensationally well-balanced. Another great option is the four hour lamb shank(Ossobucco Style), which is a massive leg of tender meat plated on a bed of creamy polenta. Yes, I do come quite often, and I like pretty much everything they’ve got. They do offer a tempting tray of desserts too, although I’m almost always far too full to partake. The service is usually quite quick and the servers are always warm and gracious. The small space fills up surprisingly fast, so Id strongly suggest reservations in advance. Often times this just means calling 30 minutes before dining, but having my name in already has proved prudent on multiple occasions. So come and enjoy this special gem in Pinecrest, they’re bound to impress.

I chose this place because my roommate and I wanted to go to the Chill-N’ ice cream shop nearby and wanted to get dinner beforehand. We were both glad I happened to find Del Sur. It’s a quaint restaurant that was packed on Saturday night however they accommodated us quickly, which was nice. The table settings aren’t that fancy but the food makes up for it, two-fold. The complimentary bread and dipping spread were yummy and I liked that for water, they left a glass bottle on the table for us to refill our cups at our convenience. The lamb empanada appetizer was good too. My roommate got the Pear and Gorgonzola ravioli(more popular than the pumpkin ravioli she was previously considering) and I got the Three Hour braised short rib dish that included risotto, baby arugula, and truffle oil. Both dishes were divine!!! We both swore that we’d take our significant others here as well! Definitely would recommend.

Great little gem hidden(like many gems in Miami) in a strip mall close to The Falls mall. The service was great. Good wine list and the food was amazing. We had pappardelle with chicken and porcini mushrooms was and the short ribs with risotto. Atmosphere is classy yet relaxed. Definitely will come back.

I really like this place! To begin… This is the place to go to if you want availability. I don’t know if it’s just me but of the times that I’ve gone the restaurant has never been busy. The staff is friendly and really on top of their service. It’s a perfect blend of catering to your needs and not interrupting every few minutes. The bread they bring in the beginning is nice. My favorite is the brown bread and it comes with butter and a sauce as spreads. The sauce is really nice. Has some beans on it. The pear pasta(with figs, gorgonzola, and parmesan) was lacking a kick on it. Like something spicy or salty to balance the sweetness of the dish. The short rib risotto was really nice. The risotto had a bite to it and the short rib(although not as soft as I like it) tasted amazing. Man they really downsized their portions! Last time I came here the portions were huge which was one of the reasons why I took so long to come back! So good job with making the adjustment. Expect me back ;)

For the geography challenged Miami is about 100 miles across Florida on a straight line on I 75 aka Alligator Alley I come over to Miami every chance I can get to visit a dear friend of my late father. I needed to take Elise out to supper and turned to my Unilocal app and asked for steak. So I get an Argentine, Italian fusion place. Now it really gets funnier as I ordered the lamb shank served with a polenta instead of the risotto. The lamb shank was advertised as slow cooked for 4 hours. And it sure tasted every bit of something that was cooked with love for four hours. Mrs. K ordered the flank steak and I had a taste it was very good. Mrs. K also ordered a salad but Elise thought she ordered it. So my Mrs. K. gave her salad to Elise. Elise is as you may have guessed old. I am lucky to still have a connection back to my father. As a tribute to my father and my stupidity I ordered blood sausage see picture it really is blood made into sausage. I can only say why I did this god only knows. I did manage to eat the sausage but did happen down about three glasses of coke. I am not knocking the sausage as it was as advertised. Just was not for me. :) I would recommend Del Sur to anyone who wants a diverse menu which can accommodate vegan to meat eaters.

After reading so many positive reviews and hearing great things about this restaurant from other Unilocalers, I decided to take my family here for Mother’s Day. The ambiance was very intimate, I loved listening to tango in the background. It’s a great place to go for a long lunch and talk because it doesn’t get crowded at lunch time. The menu has few items but our main waiter was a very sweet young lady who took time to explain several items that weren’t on the menu. I ordered the flank steak and I give it a 2: the meat was old and I could taste the blood despite it was well done and the oven roasted potatoes were piquant and salty; the squash ravioli was tender and its red sauce was light and so flavorful — this was my favorite plate. The salmon was just right with amazing mashed potatoes. I also tried the spinach empanadas and these were phenomenal, they were reheated but I could have had several because they were so light. Now my dessert was spectacular… I had the coconut flan — the consistency was perfect, the flavor was exquisite. The crème brûlée was alright, I’ve had better. I noticed how attentive the servers were and the fact they knew their menu items, however, some of them need refinement: The server that refilled our waters was careless and would drop water on our plates every time, a small detail that ruins it all…

Must disclose that my one and only visit here this at was for a Unilocal Elite event. Either way, the food here is great. As the people in charge here explained before the meal, all the food is fresh and clean. No additives or artificial sh*t. The food tastes good, the(very attentive) staff makes you feel good, and the dessert ensures you leave here with a good taste in your mouth — pun intended. I will be coming to Del Sur on a «regular» night in the future to experience this again.

LOVED this place so much, I actually finished my entire 10oz filet mignon wrapped in pancetta and sage leaves with a mushroom risotto on the bottom of it! Woooow now that’s a rarity! I really liked how they gave us bread with lima beans, that was tasty as well. We also got the crème brûlée, which was deeelicious!

Del Sur, You are still amazingly good. Everytime I come here whether celebrating a friend’s birthday or just dinner with the family, the service and food is always top notch. Your prices have remained consistent and affordable for gourmet dishes. Yum! Keep it up.
