I usually get my eye exams at big chain places like Visionworks. I decided to give Dr. Medina a try after I decided I wasn’t happy with the eye RX my last dr. at Visionworks gave me. Dr. Medina ultimately found out that my last Dr’s rx was pretty off the mark. I believe he was able to give me a better rx because he spent much more time on my refraction than I was used to getting. He was very patient during my refraction and thorough and I appreciated that. The level of attention I got from this smaller optical was definitely worth the visit.

I believe the most important trait of a doctor is his attention to the patient’s needs and concerns. And Dr. Medina sure has it. His eye exam is detailed and comprehensive, and besides just getting my eyesight data (in order to prescribe glasses or contact lenses) he also looks for other markers, like diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. (yes, those conditions frequently leave signs in your eye!). Truly a «family» doctor: calm, patient, concerned and very knowledgeable. I wish all my doctor’s had the same professional attitude as Dr. Medina. Recommended!
