Wow! We were looking for a cleaning of our small 3 bedroom condo in Largo. Merry Maids would not do this until their consultant came and gave us a quote. The consultant, believe me, was well versed in high pressure sales! He inspected every inch of the small condo looking for every speck of dirt he could find (and there really was not a lot). He came up with a bargain price of $ 390. After all, didn’t we need a professional cleaning service who cleans and sanitizes! After all, didn’t we need a professional cleaning service who vets and hires the highest quality cleaners (who according to them are vetted and approved by the FBI). After all, didn’t we need a cleaning service where the cleaning professionals came wearing company approved apparel. After all, didn’t we need a company that uses disaster relief approved cleaning supplies! The consultant was well versed on preying on the customer’s worst fears!!!
Well, we found a sweet woman who works for my uncle. She did a thorough cleaning for 3 hours and charged $ 80. I guess the other $ 110 that Merry Maids gets goes to upper management, consultants, vetting, disaster relief approved cleaning supplies and high quality apparel.
So do yourself a favor. Find a nice local person (with recommendations), save the extra money, and go for a couple of good meals at your favorite restaurant! Don’t let these high pressure sales «cleaning consultant professionals» scare you into buying their ridiculously priced cleaning services. We don’t fall for those high pressure sales. $ 390! Are you kidding me!

Hired them to clean an empty house before we moved in with special focus on the bathrooms and kitchen. None of the cabinets were cleaned at all (found a broken knife and black dirt everywhere). The bottom drawer of the stove was never even cleaned (had crumbs everywhere). They basically wiped the counters, which is something I could’ve done. The bathroom countertops were also dusty as well as the inside of the cabinet drawers. Spent around $ 200 for 2ppl/​2 hours for something I could’ve done myself. Very disappointed– don’t hire or make sure to follow them as they clean. I had my twin infants and left my husband to do the recheck (he didn’t even think to look inside the cabinets).

They do a great job. Very professional, thorough and accommodating when I need to change my schedule.
