Original Pizza II

I finally found the pizza that I have been looking for since I arrived to Pinellas Park to live! I have tried at least 4 other pizza places that all had decent pizza, but not spectacular pizza.
Original Pizza has the «Sicilian Pizza» which is out of this world. It’s a deep dish variety that is overloaded with tasty fresh ingredients. The size is humongous and when your just one, plan on reheating it in your oven or freezing it, it is that big!
This is a carry out/​delivery only restaurant, so don’t bring a large crowd. Just call ahead and don’t expect it quick, a pizza like this needs time to be prepared properly.
The have other style pizzas, subs, etc. great place!

We’ve ordered from here a few times and haven’t been disappointed. Told them they may need to add us to their regular Friday runs (if they had such a thing I would sign up). :-). Great flavors, generous toppings.
Sicilian pizza our favorite. Staff very friendly, prices are quite reasonable. Take note if you order on a Friday night and want Sicilian, be prepared to wait a little while. We were told they only had one oven for this pizza (?) and they had 4 lined up.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I will not eat pizza anywhere else since I’ve found this place. I have to admit that I have only tried the Sicilian pizza. It is so delicious that I have not been able to bring myself to try the others. I have tried a few of the subs as well. All were great. Best meatball subs! They make their own meatballs and their own sub rolls. They make their own pizza dough. Everything is always so fresh and delicious. The service is wonderful! Some of the nicest people that own the place, and the owners working in the kitchen really have a passion for their food. It shows in the outcome. Steak and cheese is another favorite, as well as the hot pastrami sub. Best find that I have found in St Pete!

Well we were mailed a coupon and called to make an order. The women that answered the phone was so rude she cut me off and just kept repeating we don’t go that far. I couldn’t get a word in after that, if she would have listened I would have picked up the order. Well now they are definitely scratched out list for outings or ordering in.

I have been to this location several times and feel the need to update my review to 5 stars. Great customer service, delicious pizza, and my favorite garlic knots. Can’t go wrong with this place!

JUST DONT, their kitchen looks like an episode of bar rescue absolutely filthy disgusting the reviews have to be fake because they were rude and nasty people I regret ever walking through the door

I hate to give this place an average review because the man working there, by himself, was so nice. However, the pizza is just average. Plain crust and cheese that lacked any flavor. It’s definitely a «pizza when you’re drunk» kind of place. Big, cheap pizzas that you eat when anything tastes good.
And cheap it is. I think I paid around $ 7 – 8 for a huge pepperoni pizza. Amazing deal since most pizza places are overpriced. But the quality and flavor of the pizza didn’t do it for me.
Like I said, the guy working there was so nice. Offering extras (peppers, Parmesan), a bag for my cheese sticks (which were also average), menus, etc. And for someone that was making the food and taking care of the front as well, he was very nice and pleasant.
That reason alone is why I will give this place another shot in the near future. Customer service goes a long, long way. I just hope I can update this review favorably someday.

My boyfriend said «wow that was damn good pizza», and I have to agree. It was the perfect pizza. Not too thick but not to thin. Just enough grease to be good but not too greasy. They even managed to get our extremely complex order right. We will be ordering again soon!

Excellent Sicilian pizza. The cheese is so good! And the best garlic knots around! Yum!

This has to be some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. They’re really nice to their customers and treat everyone like friends. This is my second time here for lunch and the quality has been just as great both times.

Been coming here the past couple of years. They never disappoint. Their pizza is fresh and absolutely delicious. I get the personal pizza which is only $ 5. They make it fresh when you order so it’s always good. I like that so much better than getting slices of pizza that have been sitting out who knows how long. I’ll definitely be back.

simply put. the best pizza i have ever eaten. fresh made crust and high quality cheese. it makes a difference and you can taste it in the final pizza. amazing pizza for people that place taste above all else.

Best subs ever!!! I eat here every time I come to town. They bake their bread fresh every day and they also make their own pizza dough every day. Garlic knots are amazing. I usually eat an Italian or turkey sub.

Very good pizza and subs. The owners are very nice and always treat you like family. The freshest bread in town, get a few loaves to take home for dinner, it’s that good. Freshest ingredients on anything you order.
