This is a great little Produce place – I hesitate to call it a ‘stand’ because it’s actually inside a building! No need to brave hot weather, Florida cold, or downpours to get your fresh Fruit and Vegetables. SUPPORTTHEFAMILY I haven’t actually confirmed this as a family business. However I sometimes see stoic teens working contrasted with the overly helpful adults – probably a safe guess. If it’s within their realm of power they’ll work with you. I was behind a lady who wanted 20 Coconuts by the next day – since Fresh Produce only had eight they took her order down. ALLTHEBASICS Items seem to come and go however the staples always seem to be there(like Spinach in a bag, Apples, Tomatoes, Onions). One whole wall contains refrigeration for less popular but still good items.(Portobello Mushrooms, Basil). Whenever I’ve searched for something fresh for cooking or smoothies I’ve found it here. I’m not sure how local some items are or whether they were grown organically or not– I never asked. I’m led to believe they are locally and organically grown; the non-fridged items seem to go bad quicker compared to their supermarket counterparts(BC they weren’t sprayed with all that unnatural gunk).

I really love this neighborhood produce shop and I am surprised it does not have any reviews! My fiancé and/or I come here each week to shop for our basic produce needs. They have your basics(lettuce, tomatoes, onions, apples, etc.), but also carry some other items like hot peppers and some other hard to find vegetables. We typically spend $ 10 per week on average. The produce is fresher and more affordable than at most major retailers, so I always come back. The shop also has some grocery items(although I can’t remember them all to safely list them). They carry fresh bread like banana nut as well as freshly made salsa from other local places. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because I’ve bought packages items and later found they were expired(specifically, baby carrots). Although they weren’t technically expired in terms of being able to consume them, I would have preferred something that wasn’t expired. If you’re in the Pinellas Park area, this is a great place to get all your produce fresh and at an affordable price!
