This gas station is decent, it has all the essentials of a typical gas station but for some reason whenever I stop by the pump os unbearably slow. They really need to fox this issue for customers who stop by during peak hours.

I like this gas station it has the basics that you need if you are on the road. Bit disappointed on the sandwiches the make I was shy to let him know about and when I said something an attitude was given to me. I understand that hundreds pass by daily however patience would be appreciated by us the customers especially the first timers. Place is clean, fruits and salads looked very fresh. Coffee was good.

I love Wawa! Their subs deserve 5 stars, but this location is horrible! It’s not really Wawa’s fault. After 3 visits I can say this store is still very clean, efficient, and they put out consistently great subs at an affordable price. It’s just that this area of town has been a headache and a real bummer for as long as I can remember. It’s too bad they did not do more research before building here! Sadly, like flies on manure, this Wawa attracts the sort of infamous Pinellas Park and Haines Road miscreants you probably have spent most of your life avoiding. There always seems to be an assortment of apparent alcoholics, addicts, homeless, and even hookers lurking around here. It gets even worse when the sun goes down… Some of the unfortunate folks here would fit right in at the Mos Eisley Cantina in Star Wars! I’m a big guy and can take care of myself, but I can’t imagine coming here after dark. It’s just not worth the risk. Beware… (Or maybe drive a bit North to the other Wawa on Gandy?) Good luck!

I grew up in NJ and Wawa was has impressed me since 1972(long before they sold gas). I am amazed at the consistency among it’s stores. Clean, organized, fully stocked, friendly and delicious. I could live on their hoagies and coffee. I am so happy they came to Florida!

Great service & product as in every other wawa, however this one has only 2 outside picnic type tables. But that’s not the main problem. They allow a lot of either homeless people or directionless loiterers with no other place to go to just hang out there indefinitely. There’s public money allocated for public homeless assistance, covered bus stop seats, parks, etc… So paying customers at wawa should enjoy the picnic tables without non paying loiterers hogging them up for hours on end. This particular location allows this on a consistent basis, so I go to other wawa spots instead

Yes I’m a fan of Wawa, I go there once or twice a day, I like the people and the deli. However, I am getting more and more uncomfortable with the panhandlers that hang around there. I donated 5 gallons of premium gas to an old guy with a gas can, but I’m tired of being asked for money every time I walk in or out of Wawa. They hang outside, smoking and hit you up all the time. I’m just saying, management should do something about it before they lose more business.

If you’ve been to one(decent) Wawa, you’ve kinda been to them all. This one has fast and friendly customer service. It’s also easy to get in and out of on the hustle and bustle of 34th Street.

Besides the cheap gas I ventured to order a sandwich here… and are you kidding me?! Nope, I’m not, their sandwich tasted better than a Subway sandwich! I was a tad surprised how you place your order. You type what you want on a touch screen kiosk which shows you clear vivid photos and written text next to the photos. You pick all the preferences like extra mayo or light mayo. When you are done with the kiosk you go to the cashier to pay for it, by the time that is done they have your sandwich ready for you. What would the world be like if this were in other fast food places and restaurants? A bunch of awesomeness with less messed up orders and a quicker wait time. They have the soft filtered water ice that I love and it’s free! Other places charge 50 cents for ice. Seems they have the right approach with an emphasis on customer service so they will certainly continue to be wildly successful and popular with customers. I go out of my way to get to a Wawa.

It is a gas station of awesomeness. Wawa is not a place to go for dinner but it is a great pit stop when out and about. They have a great selection of drinks and snacks in addition to the made to order sandwiches, quesadillas, smoothies, and coffee drinks. Gas prices are usually the best in town. This is another northern chain that is moved down to sunshine state to serve the snowbirds and passed up all most of the other states below the mason-dixon line.

I was shocked that this location is less than 2 miles from the Gandy Blvd location, nevertheless I stopped in and gave it a whirl. Amazingly on a Friday night at 1030pm it was not busy at all. I decided on a Tuna Salad Hoagie I am usually a fan of TS but also picky as well I don’t like when its marinating in a tub of mayo, this was actually pretty good with a hint of vinegar for a more crispy taste.
Restrooms were very clean and staff was friendly. For some reason I have had better experiences with the Wawa’s in Pinellas Cnty ova Hillsborough where nearly every visit was not at all a representation of what a Wawa is about.

Had my first Wawa sandwich experience last night. I was not impressed … I would put Wawa’s hoagies behind Publix and Subway. For a gas station sandwich — awesome! For something I’d take home for dinner. Meh, I’ve experienced better.

I finally understand what all the Wawa hype is about. It has quickly became my favorite gas station in the last few weeks. It is clean, it is quick and it is mostly self-service. The appeal definitely lies in the self-ordering system. You approach one of several touch screens and select whether you want breakfast, a hoagie, a quesadilla, soup, etc. You then get to customize your order the way you want it with no surprises. You don’t have anyone rushing you or giving you slack if you change your mind. It is blissful to order your own meal. The hoagies are not great, but they are better than anything you can get at any other gas station. They are good. I personally have tried two hoagies(pulled pork and pizza cheesesteak) and one quesadilla(bbq chicken). The quesadilla was my favorite of the three and I think I will stick to ordering those in the future. Did I mention they have cheap gas, a decent«grab-and-go» section with pre-made salads that look like they may be better than the local grocery stores and a large beer cooler? Yup, I dig Wawa.
