Harp’s Food Stores

So glad we have a Harp’s Grocery here now, I won’t have to drive all the way to Benton to shop at Harps now! I can’t wait for the other one to open! Have had these for years in northwest Arkansas and I have missed them since I moved. Great selection and fresh produce. I love that I can go to the meat department and actually have the meat I am purchasing cut how I want it. Love the cheese selections. Lots of organic and gluten free foods. Really cool pumpkins for the fall also. If you have not been here yet you need to go! Harps is grocery store heaven!

Just to clarify a bit from my last review, there are indeed some hard to find items here. Hard to find in this area. Such as… 1. Acqua Panna bottled water from Italy; before the arrival of this store you could only get it locally at Wal-​Mart and 8 out of 10 times I go there it’s out of stock. 2. Organic Girl salad kits; this is the only store in Hot Springs that carries these and my spouse likes them better than other brands. 3. Coleman’s English mustard in the jar; great on sandwich’s but also in making sauces and dressings. This brand of mustard, in the jar, is hard to find anywhere else in central Arkansas.
Some foods you just like a lot and when you have trouble finding them you really appreciate the place you were able to buy them at. This store made an effort to have a diverse stock.
For the availability of items like these and others, my spouse and I like going here.

This market is okay. First of all, everything inside is nice-​looking and modern. Other than a couple of meat items (even though they had just opened 2 days before I went in) everything looked pretty fresh. Nice cheese selection, fresh produce, and a very busy bakery and deli counter. I wasn’t too impressed with some of the bakery items… but not every bakery is for everybody. The other review said «hard to find brands» — I’d have to correct that and say this market doesn’t really have «hard to find» brands. just a lot of brands you have NEVER heard of. But, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t good products. But don’t go here looking for anything hard to find elsewhere… because that is not really what they have. Decent sized parking lot. Was glad I checked it out.
