Went in to see Dr. McNamara last week and was absolutely happy with my office visit. He is very professional, competent, and understanding. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

Worst customer service from a doctor office ever!!! I can not rate the doctor himself because my appt did not get that far. I am only rating my phone experience which was sub par. I called the doctor’s office twice for info for my grandmother and asked pretty simple questions. The lady over the phone said she was too busy to help me, then when I asked her if she could take down my number and call me back, she began to yell. She told me that only two people worked in that office and she was too busy to call me back. I have never been treated so poorly. I asked to speak to her manager and she hung up on me. I called back about an hour later to report this to an office manager but was hung up on again. I work as a medical assist in a busy office as well but I was trained how to multi task and how to handle a large work load. Since I wasn’t able to talk with the office manager, I decided to use Unilocal.Every patient be it over the phone or in person should be treated with respect.

Just saw Dr. McNamara. I don’t know who the other reviewer has seen or what the problem was. Dr. McNamara has guided healthcare for my husband and myself for several years. He is bright, interested and competent. If there is ever a problem with his delivery of medical care, I am confident it will not be from lack of concern or lack of ability. I recommend Dr. McNamara to my family and friends without reservation. His staff is great. Energetic and caring. The office is getting old, but it’s clean. What’s not to love?

«Dr. Mac» as his patients jokingly refer to him is on auto pilot. He missed every sign and symptom that my mom was having serious coronary problems… chest pain, radiating pain, Shortness of breath. I am also a healthcare provider and was with my mom when she told him of these symptoms… he called it «stress and anxiety» and diagnosed Valume!!! He had her walk once around the office …50 feet at best to check her O2 sat… it was in the mid 80’s…his solution was to order home oxegen… that would have taken 7 days to get… she couldn’t breath!!! We ended up by passing him and going to a specialist the next day… he admitted my mom to the hospital that day… she passed 10 days later. If you love your parents, aunts, uncles… DONOT go to this Dr. He is charming… and that is about it… During one of my mom’s last visits to him… the elevator was broken again… not only did my short of breath mother have to climb to the second floor… but there was an elderly woman trapped inside the elevator!!! And Mac… if you read this… my mother was Mary Anne J. Your pt of over 15 years… not one word of condolence from your lame, unhelpful office… Glad we got my Aunt away from you… by the way… you mis-diagnosed her as well. not altzimers… I wish you zero patient contact. Stace I just received yet another« Unilocal» response to my review…“Mac” misdiagnosed another long-term Pt. of his…“Mac” is a menace to your parents… relatives health…
