Sabor Latino 17

We have been to Sabor for both dinner and used them for catering. They are fantastic for both. It is located near East Bay Coffee and you could miss it if you blink. We stopped here after farmers market the first time but have been back several times since. I have had the torta barada, tacos and guaraches. The torta was buttery, meaty, and just overall so tasty. The tacos are simple with great flavor for at least the carne and great salsa as well. The guaraches have a wonderful thick tortilla/​flatbread like base with great tasting meat (I got the carne), avocado, salsa, sour cream, tomatoes and lettuce. It is just so good and filling. We love to come here when we are craving mexican.
We also used them for catering. Vidal was great to meet with. We did catering for 100 people, tacos, tortas, quesadillas, beans and rice included along with some horchata. The cost was very reasonable and they cooked it on site! We did have some initial confusion about the date that led to them almost missing the date but he more than made up for it. Once he and I were able to connect to clear it up, they were there and cooking within the hour. While he was in a hurry to get set up to try to correct the mistake, he was amazingly patient and made sure we were all happy and fed at the end of the day. Would definitely use them again for catering tacos, just with a bit more confirmation!

The girls behind the counter are nice too.
