Yeah, maybe this isn’t the place for people who don’t know concrete, or are used to the polish of places like American Soil, but as a long-time concrete contractor, Sugar City is my go-to for ready mix for my projects in the greater Berkeley and Oakland areas. Their mud is easy to work with, not sticky for flat work like other suppliers. Drivers are easy to work with, and I’ve never been upcharged.

These people charged me 70 $ for the rock I wanted per yard delivered. I just found the exact same thing for 45 per yard DELIVERED elsewhere. Shit

I was suggested to check Sugar City for some landscaping shredded cedar. Found it. Really cheap too! Much better quality and price than orange warehouse competitor store.
It was easy too! Just rolled up to the office, requested some bags, paid cash then drove to the pile and loaded up my car.
Sugar City is a good alternative to find bulk landscaping rock, bark, concrete or other materials. Parking is easy in their giant lot.
