Anyone in the Pinole area knows that this is the one and only best place to get delicious Chinese food. It is a blessing and a curse since there really is no other place like it in the case you are out of town. Here, you truly are paying for quality food. The walnut prawns are the best thing here, as well as the crispy and tangy lemon chicken. The pu pu tray is also a unique treat for a party of 2 – 4. The fried rice is very flavorful and never dry. We enjoy the speedy service, the quiet environment and the cater to you type service. The mushu pork is also tangy and refreshing. They do need to expand so other areas can enjoy the food. The one and only complaint, it’s a little pricey for the area and quantity but still a perfect expense for special occasions. Definitely recommend as you will become addicted.

Don’t order the fish! We found out that it was frozen. It not only tasted frozen it tasted old to. The seafood soup was good and piping hot, as was the Peking spareribs(best part of the meal). Lettuce wraps were tasty and service was good. Parking was crowded but we found a spot fairly fast. Fish was overpriced at $ 30 for something that is frozen. Total bill just under $ 100 including tip. We won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Was craving chow fun so I came here Beef chow fun — $ 7 Walnut prawns — $ 12(seriously?) Pork fried rice — $ 5 Prawns was in a small container, have had better for less $$. Not worth it Beef chow fun, they didn’t even fill up the to go container like most Chinese take-out restaurants do. Barely any taste. Pretty disappointed Only thing that was worth it was the fried rice. Might come back to give it another shot, but not impressed.

I am relatively new to the east bay, so I’ve been going to different Chinese restaurants trying to find one I like enough to go back to. ordered relatively safe takeout items: hot & sour soup, Mongolian beef, spicy eggplant. this was the weirdest tasting Chinese I’ve had yet. everything was … sweet. like they added sugar to each recipe. not super sweet like sweet & sour, but enough for everything to taste«off». secondly, this place calls itself a Szechuan restaurant, but everything was kind of bland. no peppers, and WAY too much oil. like food was almost floating in it. and finally, they pack food in plastic containers that probably cannot be recycled(tsk, tsk). not going back, and it’s a shame — person manning register and taking orders seemed very nice.

We stumbled upon this place as we were trying to find a certain realty office. Best decision we made this day. The sweet and sour pork is the Sh*t! It was so ridiculously good! We ordered the $ 15.50 person where you get appetizers, soup and 2 choices of entrees! Big portions! O.M.G. will definitely coming back!

Pretty good food! We ordered the Lover’s Prawns and decided we like the spicy prawns the best. In fact, we used the left over sauce to pour over the General Tsou’s Chicken and it wasn’t spicy at all. We should have specified we wanted it hot I suppose. All in all, it was good. The prawns were like butter! Never had prawns that well done before. Kudos to the cook!

It’s hard to find good restaurants in this area. Sparse, few and far between. But this place is a gem! Been here several times and the food is always consistent. My favorites include the walnut prawns and the beef chow fun. Not to mention the staff is always very friendly and helpful. If you get take out, make sure to ask for hot sauce because they always forget or only add one.

One of my favorite local restaurants. I’ve been addicted to the Princess Chicken since I was in elementary school. I feel like it reminds me of the ever so popular San Tung Dry Fried Chicken Wings in San Francisco. The Lotus Chicken wraps are really good too. I have tried most of the entrees on their menu and I have always been satisfied.

I always like their chicken salad especially when the weather is warm. When I have a cold, I order their sweet and sour soup. For fun, when I don’t care about calories, I order their crab won ton and princess chicken. I have always liked this restaurant.

One of the best things about the Bay Area is the choices we have concerning food. That being said I always choose Uncle Chung’s. Theirs is a tasty, light and very affordable selection of Szechuan cuisine that will never disappoint. I’m really a fan of their Singapore style noodles and their Mongolian Beef. Their dining room may not have been updated since the 1990’s but if you can get a window seat on the North side, there is a great view if the San Pablo Bay. I always order take-out and I have never been disappointed.

I had just left the dental office and was craving wonton soup, since my swollen and painful jaw could not take hard chewing. I had been here before and had their princess chicken, which is very good, but also very oily. Anywho, I wanted to try their soup, since I had not had it before. I ordered the princess chicken and a small wonton soups(the small was huge, about 24 ounces of soup!)over the phone and the lady told me 10 min. I got there in 15 and it was ready! Great food, although I strongly recommend the owner tone down the oil in the princess chicken!

This place was great for a quick pick up. I got a la carte orders of the famous princess shrimp and vegetarian chow mein. It was hardy, fresh, delicious, and the perfect amount of food for my girlfriend and I. I’m glad I gave this place a try on a friend’s recommendation.

Uninspiring food, non-committal wait staff, expensive dishes and they host has the worst breath I’ve run across, ever. If it’s your job to greet and seat people, don’t scare them out the door with your breath. Mints are cheap. The food was bland, even the«spicy» Kung Pao chicken was dull. The Walnut Prawns were very tasty and perfectly lightly dry fried, but expensive for the amount and really can’t be called prawns, they are just small shrimp. OK to go to if everywhere else is closed. China House down the road has good Walnut Prawns that are prawns and are much less expensive.

I love this place! Not every dish is as tasty but they have a variety of dishes that I love! 2 of my favorites are the salt and pepper spare ribs and the honey walnut prawns! The eggplant dish and the delux vegetables are also very tasty! Food is flavorful I definitely recommend this place! The only thing that I am missing is some good spicy«sauce» some siracha something to spice up the food. I am mexican and need spice in my life! The frozen fruit is also amazing!

Who knew dining in El Sob could be so delicious, and with a view no less? I kid you not, a view of the bay at a corner table of this down home good fun Chinese Food restaurant. The food was really, really good. and family size portions, super fresh and delicious. I had an amazing drink here called the«Burning Mandarin» which was mandarin vodka, fizzy mandarin tasting soda and a sliced jalapeño as garnish… so, so good. I love sweet and spicy and this drink was perfection. My kid and I had a fabulous meal!
