Good place to eat. Friendly and good service. Open seven days a week. Best brick oven pizza there is my kids love it. We go there for lunch and sometimes for dinner and one of my favorites dishes is the penne a la vodka.

The grilled portobello mushrooms are one of the top dishes I’ve ever had in my life. Whenever I come home I always have to stop by here.

Used to be great, not anymore. Too pricey for the quality and they often get orders wrong. Menu says they deliver but they don’t, and I live very close to the restaurant. Tried to order 10 pizzas for super bowl party and asked if they would deliver. They said no. The large pie is the size of a medium elsewhere. This was my favorite place for awhile, not anymore. Sorry just being honest.

Great local pizza joint. Had a large party and they were able to accommodate. Food was excellent!

Stopped in here during a visit to the stadium at Rutgers. The service was quick, pizza was very good, and beer was nice and cold. Definitely worth a try.

I love, love, love the food here. Get the chef’s special pizza and eat it in house. Do not take it to go, do not get it delivered. Not only will your order probably be wrong, but it just isn’t the same as it is fresh out of the oven. The owners have been having some issues over the past year so the place isn’t at bustling and well-run as it has been in the past. But my last experience was fantastic(young guy, dark hair and beard was my waiter – he was just awesome). Definitely check them out if you’re in the area. Oh, the asparagus oreganato is also awesome… it’s an appetizer. One more thing, the sangria pitcher. Do it.

I don’t understand how this place has escaped review so far. There are always tons of people flowing into this place around noon everyday. It has a huge lunch hit. Two things: 1. Pizza. THEYMAKEPIZZATHEWAYPIZZAISMEANTTOBEMADE. sorry was that in all caps? But THIS is so important. Pizza is meant to be sloppy and gooey. It’s not supposed to be that nicely handheld slice you find at CPK where they doll it up with the weirdest fanciest ingredients. You’re not eating a freaking scone, you’re eating PIZZA. The crust is supposed to be flexible(not a slab), the sauce is supposed to be slathered on in copious amounts, and the cheese is supposed to be a hot delicious mess, dripping off the end. Also, lots of garlic helps. That’s pizza. And from what I have had at Pizza ‘n Pasta, this is the way pizza is supposed to be. It’s comparable to some of the pizza I’ve had in Italy. Maybe I am waxing a bit too much given that I only tried one type— their Chef Special Garlic Pizza. But all you should need is one slice to figure how an establishment makes their pizza. And they do so well. 2. Eggplant Parmesan. I judge an Italian eatery by 2 measures– Pizza and Eggplant Parm. Ahhhhh… I had high expectations after the pizza. But the Eggplant Parmesan was really the worst Eggplant Parmesan I have had. The Eggplant was not fully cooked, It was not soft and melty— it was hard and stringy— it did not fall apart when you bit into it— it had all the fibers still very much intact– it was like half-cooked. Also, the bread was not really good sandwich bread. And the tomato sauce wasn’t that great. And there wasn’t enough cheese. It was definitely a bizarre experience after have that amazing pizza. I had no idea their Eggplant Parm could be that bad. But it was. I hope they fix it. Good Pizza. Bad Sandwich.
