The lobby and lounge areas are pretty and relaxing. The woman at the front desk was nice and my room was clean. The breakfast was wonderful and there man and woman clearing the tables were very nice. Although the furniture seemed newly renovated, I think the ceilings and walls need to be renovated as well. Lastly, there is a waitress in bar/restaurant area that needs a new job. She’s nasty, not attentive and takes forever. She actually seemed like she was purposely avoiding her tables and didn’t smile once. I’m pretty sure she was the same one others have mentioned in their reviews. Overall my stay was ok… not the worst ever but certainly not the best.

I absolutely love the Embassy Suites… From the customer service to the food. Welcome Reception with snacks and a complementary alcoholic beverage was just the kind of welcome I needed after a crazy short week from work. Rooms are spacious and easily accommodated the 5 of us. Breakfast buffet was made to order omelettes and hot foods from French toast to bacon to home style potatoes and sausage links. A1 customer service — I would definitely return

Lovely hotel. The rooms are big and clean. Best complimentary hotel breakfast I have ever had. Unfortunately, there was little to no wifi connection. I have had much better connections at two-star Howard Johnsons. The complimentary wifi connection was not even stable enough to sign up for the presumably more robust $ 9.95 per day premium wifi service. Surprising considering the number of business travelers utilizing the hotel. Also, the room was cold. I raised the thermostat setting, and this engaged a loud fan. But the air coming from the vents never warmed up — just more tepid, room-temperature air. All in all a very disappointing stay.

Amazed how rude the bar waitress and bar tender were. Gave us free drink ticket when we checked in and waitress had no idea what it said on the free drink ticket. 30 minutes later still waiting for waitress to bring me my beer.

I was so impressed with this hotel. Great staff, love the bartenders and the breakfast. I was attending an event at the hotel next door, but ended up here when the host hotel was sold out, and it was just my luck because this hotel s much nicer. I want to come back here just to stay and relax.

I stayed at this establishment for 3 days during the animé next convention with my daughter and her friends. The room was very clean and had a nice selection of coffee and tea available in room. The open concept of the hotel is a welcomed change from most hotels with stuffy corridors. My only complaint is with the lack of toiletries in the bathroom. There seemed to be only two towels, a tiny bar of hand soap and and even smaller size shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. A hotel of this rating should not only offer a bit larger size, but at least 4 towels especially for a room that it’s supposed to sleep 4 people. A small tube of toothpaste would have been appreciated also. The front desk ladies were more than efficient and had two more towels up to my room in under 10 minutes along with 2 trial packs of toothpaste. Alexandria was especially warm and friendly upon my check in and my check out, making me feel like we had known each other for some time. She and I share a birthday and since the hotel is so beautiful suggested I celebrate my 40th there.(way to promote Alexandria!) I WOULD recommend staying here when in town. Despite the younger, noisier crowd, and my room being located next to the elevator, you can barely hear any noise in the room and I slept fairly well.

We were put here overnight for a fight cancellation out of Newark. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the room, or the complimentary breakfast. However, if you have a slew of guest who will need to be at the airport at nearly the exact time for the same and you know the hotel shuttle buses are«scheduled», why wouldn’t you request more or tell the guest they are full for the next 3 scheduled shuttles in order to preserve their time and allow a quick taxi pickup instead?!?

I stayed here for a couple days while visiting family in the Somerset, NJ area. A nice place to stay, clean, and the staff was very accommodating. I think I found a new favorite place to stay besides Sonesta ES Suites. The hotel is located about 15 minutes drive from Rutgers University, not far from Route 78 and 287, adjacent to Radisson hotel. The parking lot to the hotel was easily accessible with tons of spot available. The indoor courtyard looked very appealing with natural light came through the window ceilings. The bar and dining area looked nice in the evening, and they offered one complimentary drink and refreshment per guest. The room was nice and clean. Believe me, I would rather sleep in the car than sleep in a dirty and smelly hotel room. I was impressed with how spacious the room was. The room had a separate living area with big screen TV, a desk, microwave, a fridge, coffee maker, and a pull-out sofa. So far, I was satisfied with the room and the price I paid. However, the room next door was loud around 2am and I had to call the front desk. I usually can tolerate noises but it was a bit too much. I waited for about 15 minutes after the phone call, it seemed someone came and talked to the neighbor and I didn’t hear anything afterward. They also have a free breakfast buffet and a made-to-order breakfast. It was really nice and the food wasn’t too bad. I didn’t use the indoor-pool and fitness room so I can’t give my input. If you come to visit Rutgers University or New Jersey area I would recommend this place. I booked the room through and I happened to get a good deal for 2 nights. I would come back and stay here again in the future.

My family and I stayed here a few months back when we flew in for a funeral. The hotel definitely did not disappoint, it’s beautiful. We are Embassy lovers, and look for one wherever we go. They were renovating at the time, so that was one very small downfall, and not all of the staff was as helpful as we would have expected from Embassy, but all in all it was a pleasant experience.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites hotel in Piscatiway N.J. for 5day days last week 10÷15−20. It was quiet & clean. The breakfast was great, & the cocktail hour from 5:30 — 7:30 Pm was also quite good. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

We checked in Saturday 9÷21÷2013 and before we jumped in the bed after an evening out in NYC, my wife pulled the covers back noticed a tiny black spot. She looked closer and it was moving, I looked and took photos and sure enough it was a bedbug. needless to say we checked out immediately and was given a refund. The staff was nice however, they need to do some work to get rid of their bedbug problem.

I booked a room here while driving across country(3600 miles total). Check in process was relatively pleasant. They make you sign this ‘contract’ on hotel policies, ex loud noise after 10pm. I asked the receptionist for a room that was peaceful and quiet as I was exhausted beyond belief. Got up to the room, and it was nice, pretty big as well. For 2 people we had everything we needed right there. Went down to the bar and they were closing. Bartender made me up 2 drinks at an extremely great price: free. DOWNSIDE: exhausted from the traveling(2800 miles thus far) I try to go to sleep. Can’t sleep as the walls are paper thin!!! Baby upstairs is whaling away. Lisa, Shawntel, and Tameka are next door comparing boyfriends qualities and that other girl at the club. James and ‘oh baby’ are getting in on next door. Night results in ZERO sleep and I’m cranky. So really, why did I sign a contract to be quiet when everyone else is having a great time??? I just wanted a room to get sleep as I still had 800 miles of driving to go… Best part was that the Manager comped my room which was a great gift. Don’t get me wrong, I am a HHONORS member with lots if dollars invested in Hilton every year, and I wasn’t looking for a free handout, I just needed some sleep without hearing my Neighbors every last move. I probably wouldn’t stay in this hotel again, especially on a weekend or during a family reunion, but I would consider it on a slower weekday night.

Staff was efficent and on time with everything. Overall good place to stay.

I stayed here for a week, and it’s a crappy shit hole. The décor hasn’t been touched since the late 70’s early 80’s. My room is spacious with a separate living and bedroom, but it’s old and not good for those with allergies. The bathroom has no fan and there is no proper ventilation, thus the room feels damp and moldy. Don’t walk on the carpets with bare feet. Take some claritin. The location is in the business district next to the turnpike, so there’s nothing to do nearby and the rooms can get noisy from the traffic. Internet access is a ripoff too. The only good things are happy hour between 5 to 7 ish, where you get a free drink and discounted ones after that, and free breakfast, which I unfortunately never got to take advantage of.

Its a decent place to stay. I had a meeting here with my co-workers and for what I saw, service was good, but not the best! Food was mediocre, but cheap. One of my friends who slept overnite said that internet wasnt free. But the room was neat, and looked clean. Basically, you get what you pay for.
