i go to this place so much, i forget to review the breakfast or lunch sandwiches i get here anywhere from 2−4x a week. sometimes the bread is too dry, sometimes the coffee is too weak, but this particular afternoon, it was all perfect. my first bite into my favorite 2.99 italian 6 inch was a perfect balance of protein veggies and dressings. not too mayo-y or vegetable-y. the key to a great sandwich is balance of ingredients, and this time around, they knocked it out of the park. i also dont like it when one ingredient, like banana peppers for example, is in such excess that it falls off the side. i like it when my sandwich stays in tact for the most part, so i can the perfect bite. the soft saltyness of the meat, with the crunchy texture of the tomato pickle and spinach, all in that soft and slightly buttery white bread.

This place is convenient from my office so I come every once in a while for their signature sandwiches. On multiple occasions I’ve opened up the sandwich back in the office only to find that they only put on half of the toppings I had ordered and paid for(avocado is extra). I can look past a one time mix-up, but three times??? I won’t go back if I can help it.

I used to get breakfast sandwiches from here all the time using the computer screen ordering. Never had a bad experience with the food. Now I just run in to get a cup of coffee. There’s an app that you can download, and if you buy 6 cups of coffee, the 7th is free. Every single employee I’ve met is extremely friendly and attentive there which is helpful when you’re on the go.

It’s really the place in between for me. We live up north, my family lives down south — we meet here. Typical Quick Chek — has coffee(yum!) and good food ‘quick’ food.

I have not left a review since my last scathing one. Things have not changed much for the better here. Subs still suck and coffee containers are never filled. Today I was there at 530 am and there was a line with about 15 people, the guy in front was buying lotteries for all of piscataway apparently. So this employee, Kate, walks out from the back and says that there is a hold up because of the degenerate gambler up front, sarcasm. So instead of opening another register, she asks us if we just want to hand her cash?! WTF!

I’m not going to lie. I love QC. Their food is actually, well… FOOD! I love the meatball subs and their new hot dogs are really unique in terms of flavors/toppings. Occasionally they don’t toast the meatballs long enough though and you get a cold sandwich or the person doesn’t read the ticket and screws up your order, but that can happen anywhere. And when you go there as much as my bf and I seem to, its bound to happen once in a while. If you think Sheetz or Wawa are the end-all be-all of convenience store food, you haven’t yet been to Quick chek. I also love that QC has ALL of their nutrition information online! This location in particular is always pretty clean and the staff is extremely friendly. I have yet to meet an unpleasant employee here.
