I’ve rented from pismo coast management for years & had no problems with the previous 2 owners, I’ve rolled over my deposit for years, I’ve rented the same house every year for my family & I to enjoy for the 4th of July. I do understand that last year the new owners didn’t know I always rent that house & it’s always held for me sense I already have a deposit with them so they rented it out. They did call me for this years 2015 Fourth of July so we set it up for me to have the house for the next 3 years when they didn’t renew the rental contract with the owners & lost the house to rent out pismo coast management never gave me a call to let me know I no longer rent the house from them now my family & I have no house for our vacation we all were planning on to add to this I called pismo coast Management for the return of my deposit & all I get is the answering machine or if the phone is answered I’m told they sent out my deposit I’ve been waiting for my deposit to get to my house going on 4 weeks now… I defiantly will not be renting from pismo coast management again too many times of being let down buy the new owners of this company.

Rented a house on York last year for my birthday, and I have to say, the house was very accommodating. It was well kept, plenty of utensils, pots, plates, etc… Plenty of space. PLENTY of linens THATYOUCANUSEUNLIKEINHOUSESRENTEDOUTBYDREAMZVACATIONRENTALS. There was not much that the owners wanted us to do when we vacated the house. They just wanted us to leave the linens and dishes for the cleaners to take care of. I mean, as renters, we pay a cleaning fee, so it is only grounds for a renter to leave a bit of trash and some beds unmade. The people at Pismo Coast understood this, UNLIKETHEONESATDREAMZVACATIONRENTALS. All in all, I’m glad we rented from Pismo Coast and stayed at the York house. Our group made a scavenger hunt and left it behind for future renters to play! We even left behind some beach toys because we were so certain that we are coming back to this house!

Rude much? I’ve been looking to purchase a vacation home in Pismo for the past 6 months. As I search, we rent about once a month to enjoy the town and enjoy at the area. It also gives you a great sense of who’s a great realtor and property manager. Yikes, we rented from this company last month. Cute place, nothing special but a last minute, easy rental. During our 3 days, I had friends stop by and they had brought their uninvited 5 lb dog, which I did let in for an hour. Per our rental agreement, no pets were allowed. Now, I’m not suggesting breaking the rules is right and I know people need the money… BUT… After a month my security deposit had not been returned nor had I heard from the company. So I emailed a reminder note as well as a belated thank you. What I received was a curt, rude and unprofessional reply stating my deposit would be forfeited due to the animal. Again, no excuses… we broke the rules; BUT, no call, no letter, no nothing. It’s too bad, they could have had additional rentals and maybe even a future sale had the situation been handle with a little more tact. We have a rental property in Tahoe and I’d immediately fire my management company if they handle the situation in the same manner. Just a heads up… there’s plenty of rental companies in the area, if you want a friendlier broker and better service, save yourself the grief and use another company.
