They have great candy apples with chocolate and nuts. I also picked up some chocolate for my wife. They have a giant Easter bunny that will make any persons holiday for $ 79

I read some of the other complains but my family’s desert was amazing and the gal that was working was extremely nice! Next time I’m in town, I will definitely be coming back!

If there is an option for no star, this place deserves it. I personally would shut it down if I work for the health department. Chocolate covered macadamia nuts was very old. When I took the chocolate back and told them, no apology was offered. I don’t really care about the money, but I don’t want other children to get sick. If you don’t want to get sick, stay away from this place.

The quality of the ice cream which is offered I’d high. The quantity for the money? Really low. The flavor selection really low. 7 – 11’s freezer is a better a better after dinner treat. I understand it’s a chocolate store but really?

Love the product but can do without staffs bad attitude. When a customer walks in that customer should be priority over whatever game or text conversation an employee is playing on their phone. And the annoyed attitude at being asked to do a job they’re being paid for is unwarranted and only serves to alienate customers and discourage return business. Maybe staff feels they can be rude because they serve tourist they may not encounter again but as a local it’s unacceptable. I’m hard pressed to ever return.

Candy and chocolate was great, but customer service was terrible. We weren’t greeted when we came in and the blonde that helped us didn’t smile once and had a very blank and grumpy look on her face. Probably wont return.

Try the Apple Pie apple. It’s the best! I also really like the avalanche bar(peanut butter, rice krispy treat, marshmallow). My sister really likes their chocolate-covered strawberries. Their truffles aren’t that great, on the other hand.

Was in Pismo on vacation in the area and decided to shop at the outlets here. Oh noooo Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! Oh Yess said my Tummmy but oh nooo because I was on a diet. Of course I gave in and we walked into the store. After debating back and forth, I went with the caramel apple with toffee and chocolate. Hey ! Don’t judge me! It IS fruit after all LOL. I don’t know if it was the best caramel apple ever, or if the fat girl inside that was screaming for her sweet fix was finally satisfied.

This is the first Rocky Mountain I have ever walked into & it was love at first sight. My favorite apple is the Apple Pie Apple. It is coated in Caramel, White Chocolate, Sprinkled w/Sugar & Cinnamon. It really taste like an apple pie. The staff has always been extremely friendly, the store is nice & clean, unfortunately its rather small so it can get crowded quite fast.

It’s a tradition to come here after dinner every time we’re in the area. They used to charge a flat price for the chocolate dipped strawberries and now they’re considered to be part of the«by the pound» price. I’m sorry, but I hate paying by the pound for a strawberry! The amount of chocolate on said strawberry isn’t even going to register the scale. Over $ 20 for a few bites of candy is ridiculous!

This establishment gets a one star rating because they were rude to a disabled person. The manager was hostile and demanded a visually impaired man leave because he had a guide dog! Not only is this heartless but it is illegal. I hope the man turns them in.

A little pricey but a great place to go to satisfy your sweet tooth. The chocolate chip cookie half dipped in chocolate is the best thing in the world. And so are the candied apples. And chocolate covered marshmallows. Basically a mini WIlly Wonka.

They have these down here however, when I was shopping up a storm at the last minute, this place hit the spot ! We got to the Prime Outlets at 8pm and they closed at 9 ! I got to speed shop at 5 stores and got me some great bargains! I popped into the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where no one said hello but figured they were none too thrilled that I was there 10 minutes before closing. I perused the dipped apples, the ice cream, the fudge, the chocolate counter and quickly decided on a caramel chocolate apple, rocky road fudge, and caramel marshmallows. I had the apple sliced to share and it was delectable !! It had high quality caramel and delicious dark chocolate that just melted in my mouth along with the crisp yet slightly tangy green apple all a party in my mouth!! The rocky road fudge was a little plain but the caramel marshmallows were better than the See’s Scotchmallows I crave during Christmas !
