The Caffeinated Cyclist

I’m writing this review to compliment caffeinated cyclist. I’m very glad to say the service was prompt, easy to explain (I got a cateye cyclometer trainer recently and my bike needed a part to fit it) the guy working was helpful and knew exactly what I needed… Which is pretty impressive cuz I don’t know a lot about bikes… I’ve had several sessions on the trainer and am really glad such a good shop is right here in Pitman! Now I can go looking/​shopping for my soon-​to-​be replaced road bike here (they have a really good selection and fair pricing)

Had a Schwinn road bike. For the quality of the bike, it would be cheaper for me to buy a new one than to get it repaired. I explained to the man that I wanted the blown out tire repaired and that if it was going to be more than that, to not do any work on the bike at all so I could donate it for parts. Not only did they do the work it needed but called for authorization for additional services. As I said, I authorized them to keep the bike for not following my directions.
They do have a nice shop though.

I am a HUGE fan of Caffeinated Cyclist. Great service and wide range of entry level to advanced level bicycles. I recently bought a new hardtail mountain bike. I received great service and the advice I received on which bike to buy. I have had a great time learning to ride the bike and joining the weekly shop ride. I highly recommend this great shop and it’s friendly staff.

I bought my bike from The Caffeinated Cyclist in 2013 and have been very pleased with the top notch service I have received. Since purchasing my bike I have been back in for a few tune ups, and the guys there also helped me make the leap into the world of clip-​less pedals. My most recent trip was to get a seat put on my bike that better suited my needs. In both instances where I was upgrading my bike, the guys at CC answered my countless questions, schooled me on basic knowledge I would need, and made me feel comfortable with the change I was making. They never made me feel inferior or that any of my questions were stupid. I was a little concerned about finding a seat that was right for me since they are all men and I am not, but they did a great job, and made sure I was comfortable before purchasing the seat. Everything that they have done to my bike was clearly explained and they have always been able to give me a projected price, which was always accurate. I have complete confidence that the guys at CC are doing what’s best for me and my bicycle.
The rides that the shop have weekly are also great for all levels. I started riding in a group ride on Fridays out of the shop for the first time last year. This ride is their «fun» ride and is no-​drop. It has been a blast, and I never would have done it if not for the friendly encouragement I received from all the guys at the shop.
I highly recommend The Caffeinated Cyclist… the atmosphere is friendly, laid back and inviting. Plus, they have great coffee. It’s definitely a win/​win.

I purchased a cannodale from ebay and wanted to get it checked over /​serviced and have new tires installed. While being helped two customers walked in and instantly were asked if they needed help. I was told to fill out the service ticket and waited, after 15 minutes of him looking online for a $ 27 dollar lock I got impatient and took my bike to another shop. Unless your buying a lock or new bike I wouldn’t bother going to this shop. Also, I was told I needed a new chain and cassette. The next shop I took my bike to said the chain was new and not worn.

This place is awesome. They are extremely knowledgable and some of the kindest people I have dealt with in a long time. I would highly recommend this place. Their new location is sharp too.
