Don’t count on getting what you want as they don’t have all menus items all the time they are open.

Finally, a good brisket! A Texas transplant, I’m always on the lookout for tender, flavorful brisket and have been letdown time and time again by area restaurants, but Jimbos is doing it right… super tender, nicely marbled. Yum! The sausage had a very unique flavor and a great spice. And as an added bonus(the often overlooked) sides were tasty as well. Clean and orderly establishment, very friendly staff. Prices are fairly normal for barbecue. Check it out!

The food is good, the prices are a little high for self service and paper plates. I’d love to see this locally owned place fill the void of a now closed family restaurant that serves as a area icon for decades. Everything is good, the meat is tender and juicy, the sauces choices are a nice reflection of different regions. Get me a waitress and real table ware and I’d go up to 4.5 stars.

We love BBQ and love to try new places. JImbo’s BBQ definitely wasn’t worth the time or gas to drive out to Pittsboro!

The beef brisket is moist and tender the service is great. The baked beans are the best. You won’t be disappointed.
