It took a few seconds to get the connection. I’m wasn’t sure what connection a tree had to this store, except the tree for which it’s named is common to the southeast and this shop has works from artists and artisans from around the area. If that’s not the connection, I give up. Still, the name makes it stand out from other like-styled shops. It’s an open space shop, with wide aisles and lots of glass shelves and racks to keep the light flowing throughout. It makes it easy to see the item in a non-distracting setting. Things are mixed throughout so you’ll find similar items all around the store. There’s a mix of media here, art created by the two owners along with pottery, jewelry, prints, scarves, and the like made by others with whom they share a common view. The goods are contemporary for the most part, but with a nice variety. For a unique gift, or to claim ownership of an original work of art, you’ll find this is a good place to start, or stop. You can probably find something less expensive at a similar-themed place, but what you get may be more cookie-cutter style.
