Our food(breakfast) was ok, except for the home fries, which were room-temperature pale cubes of bland potato. Service, however, was a bit depressing. We arrived in a great mood, greeted the server with a «good morning», and was met with a frown and a half-nod. She was in a tremendous rush to get us in and out of there, even though it was not crowded. She wanted to take our order as soon as we had received our menus, and was asking for payment before we had finished our meal.

So in we walk, lunch for four, seated promptly in a clean restaurant. Good variety on the menu. Fast friendly service. Reasonable prices. All good as far as I could see.

The breakfast here is very good, but my experience with dinner here was quite different. The food was ok, nothing special, but the service was terrible. Our waitress appeared to be the owner of the restaurant and she was the only one working in the dining room. Terrible attitude and took way too long. I would still recommend the place for breakfast though.

Ok. Service was good. Food was edible but way overcooked. The table next to me thought the portions were way too big, she had a ½ chicken parm and ended up leaving half behind. Emphasis here on quantity over quality. My roast beef was very overcooked. And the poutine lacked any umph. Fine to dine. But no great shakes.

So cute and cozy. We went just before the snowmobile season on our honeymoon and loved this cozy place. Business was slow but the very nice waitress explained just give it two weeks, there will be a line out the door! I believe it, breakfast was pleasurable and comfortable. She took a picture for us that I posted too, how nice was that!

As a local, I’ve been to many places in the NEK. This was the first time I went to Happy Corner. They have an extensive dinner menu. The café is small and cute with stoves. The food was fresh and delicious. We did not try dessert but were very tempted! Prices were right. Service was friendly but the kitchen was a little slow. I would definitely come back here, especially to try breakfast. I would definitely come here over The Spa or The Northland — especially if it was closer.

Family owned… Its not very often I give 5 stars… My husband and I have been to this restaurant many times, while camping during the moose festival, every year(just about). Wonderful, friendly, down to earth service. The food is comfort food in good portions. Typical breakfast, lunch and Dinner. Daily Specials. Their menu has a nice selection. We went twice this year. Once for dinner. I had the prime rib(it was lean) and delicious. They make it every afternoon for that night. tender and flavorful. Our 2nd trip was a late breakfast and they were able to accomadate us at 10:40 a.m. so that was nice. Their food tastes fresh, and home made. Their breads, even their english muffins! Real butter on the table(hate those little packets). Clean too! We will be back, just like we have in the past!

One of the best breakfasts in New England. Home made bread for toast and french toast can not be beat. Fair pricing and and homey atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax and chat with friends. I look forward to breakfast everytime I head up to Pittsburg, NH.

Ate here last year and it was serviceable if you are hungry but no great shakes. Like a roadside café of the 1950’s, very basic home cooking, average food, service and prices. I found it uncomfortable as it reminded me of eating at a friend’s mom’s house when you were a kid. Too bright overhead lighting, no music so all you hear is other diners talking and silverware clattering/people eating. OK in a pinch, but there is much better around now. To their defense, this was the standard for restaurants around here up until recently, hopefully they will keep their niche clientele if they decide not to change.
