I’ve attended many events at Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium over the years, from a speaking performance by Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes) to tattoo shows. Most recently, I’ve attended several productions of Midwest Regional Ballet held here. This is a very well-​kept venue and plenty large for its small community. It’s a shame they don’t publicize and use it for even more — I think it would be a terrific concert venue for start up and moderately successful performers traveling through the area. It’s about a hundred times nicer than the nearby Joplin Memorial Hall.
