My review is for the Salvation Army Family Store located on these premises. The agency itself also has offices here but I am reviewing the thrift retail outlet only. I really like shopping here when I’m in the area. I find that overall, the selection runs toward quite young styles and that appeals very much to me. Perhaps it is because this store is in close proximity to Pittsburg State University, but I have found numerous adorable dresses and tops from juniors stores as well as higher quality barely worn athletic apparel by the big names(North Face, lululemon, Athleta and more). They don’t have this stuff every single time of course, but when they do it is a treat! The prices are a little higher on the name brand items, which is to be expected, but still very fair. They have a small selection of furniture and housewares, and some men’s clothing and kid’s stuff. Primarily though it’s women’s clothing. This is definitely not a large Salvation Army Family store but it’s plenty spacious for shopping. I’ve never had rude service in this store and they are able to process credit and debit cards which is very convenient also.
