It’s a 3.5−4 star review. The office was open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so I should’ve known things weren’t going to be too peachy. My husband and I showed up 20min early, as I was told to arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. My appointment time was for 2:30. There were two other patients waiting, one also with a 2:30 appointment and the other with a two o’clock appointment. Neither had spoken with anyone yet. One lady knocked on the window and we could hear a man laughing and talking in the background, I swore I heard another voice but I’m not sure. And no one came, so I got up and knocked on the door and finally a man appeared and said that«the girls aren’t here yet, I can’t do anything, I’m by myself. They’ll be here at 2:30» so I responded with«my appointment is at 2:30, I was told to be here 15 minutes early. But thanks for telling us now» he closed and locked the door. Turns out that was the doctor. Finally the girls arrive at 2:28 and I started doing my paperwork after the other ladies had gotten theirs. Got in back pretty quickly and was weighed. The dr came in promptly. He came off as rude at first, made me feel stupid for being there bc he made me nervous I forgot everything basically, so he seemed quite impatient. Turns out he knows his stuff though, as he should, and eventually we got past the awkwardness and he was pretty helpful. I originally was going in just to be referred to a dermatologist, but since my primary care physician is ending his practice, this was my first time with Dr. Sequeira as my new doctor. I got my refferals, along with one for a rheumatologist, a gynecologist, and a new referral to my gastroenterologist. He went over my blood work from LabCorp, as well as more on my phone. Made sure I had everything and smiled and seemed a bit more calm once we were in his office and not in the exam room. Maybe it was because it was Monday, maybe because it was a holiday and he had to come on. Maybe that’s just who he is. In the end, he helped me, is nice, and knew what he was doing. My entire visit was about an hour and a half I suppose, including the time I got there. He’s a tough cookie.
