I’ve been living here since April, 2009. This is the first time I’ve lived downtown and the first time in a high-rise. I must say that I love it!!! The views are just spectacular!!! The living room overlooks PNC Park and the river, wraps around and you can see all the bridges, then our bedroom overlooks downtown. It is just amazing!!! The pool is a very nice amenity. Sure, it’s a bit small, and it can be a bit chilly up there on a windy/cloudy summer day, but there is nothing like being in a pool surrounded by high-rises in downtown Pittsburgh. Just spectacular!!! The location is excellent. There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Point Park is right around the corner. We had a great time during the Arts Festival… it was only a block away!!! The first 10 floors of the building are a parking garage, and the apartment access elevator will take you right to your apartment. Very convenient. I only have 3 minor complaints: 1.The laundry room is very small, doesn’t have a change machine, and the dryers don’t run long enough to dry a load on one cycle. 45 minutes for $ 1.25 leaves my clothes very damp. Often there is a traffic jam of tenants trying to do laundry and waiting for open washers/dryers. 2. If something needs fixed in the apartment, it can take a long time for the maintenance staff to «get around to it.» This really does suck. 3. There are usually only 2 or 3 windows in the apartment that open, but they only open about six inches. Not very good air circulation, and no screens. Other than that, an excellent place to live. The other tenants are generally younger professionals, but there are exceptions to that as well. Either way, everyone is very nice and friendly. No complaints there. If you ever get a chance to look at one of the apartments here, go for it. Definitely worth it.
