A great venue for live Jazz in the warmer weather, plus a great place to see public art. The fountain was designed by the Louise Bourgeois, as were the«eyeball» seats. Bourgeois is a fascinating artist, one of the most influential in the modern era, and the founder of confessional art. Across the street you can view the Magnolias for Pittsburgh, two hand-sculpted magnolia trees by the artist Tony Tasset. This is a great place to dine, wait for a bus, or listen to music, a real contribution to the Pittsburgh arts scene.

This is a great sculpture in the heart of downtown. We need this, and we need more like it. If you’ve not seen it, I’ll suggest it’s not a big enough deal for a stand-alone trip. But still, if you are anywhere near, have a look and add a review of your own.
