Mike and his crew are extremely friendly and helpful. Great selection of cigars, pipes, and accessories. Huge walk in humidor and nice lounge to sit in while having a smoke.

I frequent ASW almost every day. This cigar lounge is comfortable, roomy, VERY reasonably priced, and all around perfect. Their humidor is on point with a large selection of cigars, pipe tobacco, and accessories for each. Both Christian and Mike are very kind, and I formed a quick friendship with both of them. They know their stuff more than just about everyone. The humidor itself has notes next to each cigar, showing what awards, ratings, and special information it has. Extremely informative. Even if you aren’t sure what to pick, all you have to do is ask and the staff can help you find the perfect smoke for you or a friend without any trouble. Being an official Espinoza lounge, you’ll find the latest of their line, as well as several others when they have different brand events. which are frequent, and can include a cook-​out with drinks of some sort. You can sign up for an email list to get the latest news from their upcoming events and soecials. You can also pick up a card, which for every $ 100 spent (marked by ten stamps for each $ 10), you get $ 10 off your next purchase! These can stack as well for another purchase if you don’t wish to use it right then and there. The most important part, aside from the cigars, is the lounge itself. A main common area at the front of the shop can seat a handful of people, with room to stand. The entire room is bright and windowed, with extremely comfortable leather chairs. There is also a chair in the back room as well that’s bathed in warm sunlight. My personal favorite to enjoy a smoke. The building is clean, beautifully decorated with tobacco souveniers, and really gives you a sense of home and comfort. I highly recommend EVERYONE in the Pittsburgh area stop by to chat and have a smoke. See you there!

This has to be the best cigar shop I’ve been to, with respect to selection, price, and customer experience. Highly knowledgeable staff that are friendly and always willing to offer a similar selection to expand your horizons. Must check them out.

I like to smoke a good cigar. And I like to talk to others who enjoy the same — and especially like to talk to people who KNOW a lot about them and why they are so good. And so it is at Allegheny Smokeworks. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and has terrific recommendations. His humidor is filled with delights that he can attest to personally. There are the standard, find in every cigar store brands as well as some he gets exclusively. I always find some things I enjoy and never walk out empty handed.
There’s a small smoking lounge in front of the store which is always filled with aficionados puffing away in a cloud of smoke — which is noticeable as you approach the place from afar. But that’s ok, if you are offended by that you’ll not likely find yourself anywhere near here. Great place — might be in my top 2 – 3 favorite cigar stores around.

Best cigar selection in Pittsburgh. Their pipe tobacco blends are fantastic, I recommend RLP-​6. Great atmosphere!
