I had a few guys come by to give pricing for removing a big dead tree in my backyard. One said it was too dangerous. Another said he wasn’t sure. I started to get worried that the only way this tree was coming down was after it fell on my house.
I found Allstar after sending a message to a reviewer on a poor rating for a company I was considering. I called Ted and he returned my call with a few hours and was out the next day. He and Joe showed up and really assessed options for safely removing the tree and warned of any potential damage (nothing major, just a few bricks in a small wall need restacked/​replaced). Their estimate was extremely reasonable for the job so we signed a contract on the spot. I was relieved that they were willing to do it and didn’t really worry about any potential fallout!
I had my date secured for a week later. They did all the prep of clearing their path and got to work. The tree itself came down very quickly. The most time consuming part was the clean up and there was a lot of it! Ted and Joe did a fantastic job of clearing out debris. They also made sure to pick up sticks and leaves that had drifted to my neighbors’ yards.
During the course of climbing a still living neighboring tree to access the dead one, Joe encountered a dead branch. They took care of it on the spot. Then turned it into firewood for another neighbor.
Joe and Ted are passionate about what they do and they have a great working relationship, which is important in potentially dangerous situations. My neighbors were curious about this job because this tree has been a «problem» with dead debris falling all over so I’m sure they celebrated as much as we did. With the curiosity came interest in jobs they needed done so 2 of my neighbors are having Ted and Joe come to take care of them. Really glad I chose these guys!
