I’ve started going to Vince around ⁹⁄₂₀₁₅ — I’ve been going back every two weeks since.
Vince is an old-​school barber that takes pride in his work. He doesn’t rush the cut. While my cut is simple, he still takes his time. He provides a straight razor shave around the ears and the back of the neck. If a barber isn’t doing this, you need to find one that does.
Recently, I had Vince line up my beard with the straight razor and was given a partial shave. I don’t normally lay a razor to my neck as I break out badly. I didn’t break out at all from it. It was an awesome experience. Hot towel, hot lather, beard balms.
Like said, if you need cut, get on the appointment list. Well worth it

This interesting haircut shop is a mix of traditional and modern, practical and kitschy which makes for an interesting space. So definitely This will get your attention but of course for any hair cutting salon it’s all about the service.
This place is already busy so don’t expect to walk in, call-​ahead of time, it’s appointment only. VINCE is pretty good at the service and he’s an amenable guy. Did a nice job with my hair sans clippers and we’ll see how he holds up but leaving the shop I’m good. He listens and talks to you to make sure you’re getting what you want and he finished of my cut with a straight razor to the back of the neck. And price-​wise we’re talking reasonable, $ 13 for a standard men’s cut.
I would recommend anyone looking for a good haircut.

Vince is truly the man to see. I have tried many shops in the city to get the perfect cut, but finding a new barber is barely about the cut. Vince is a guy that you would find in a bar and want to talk to while you were both sitting there for an evening.
A seasoned professional with many years of experience that shines through on every visit. Vince gave me a tune-​up and straight razor shave the morning of my wedding; he is the only person I would trust with that responsibility, at this point I have gone to him for two years.
For your own sake, call and make an appointment. Vince is generally booked up well in advance, so don’t even try to walk in– he will always try to squeeze you in, but he can be booked for a week out. I have had standing appointments with him every month which is the way to go. Once you work with Vince you won’t want to go anywhere else! Bravo!

I’ve been coming here since it opened and love it. Vince is a true professional who takes pride in his work. The prices are lower than most competitors; just $ 13 for a haircut and $ 13 for a face shave. I’ve gotten a face shave at other shops and I think this was the best one I’ve ever gotten. Vince is the only barber in the shop and has become very popular and very busy so call ahead to book an appointment.

Great atmosphere and good service are just the start. Get a straight razor shave. It’s worth it. Call ahead because he’s super busy some days!

A good hair cut, hot shaving cream, and a straight razor shave of your neck and sideburns. It doesn’t get much better! This place is a throw back. It’s a place for men (and boys) who want a haircut the old fashion way.
