Wonderful sun dried tomato, mozzarella and basil pesto sandwich. Perfect tiramisu. Outstanding service from friendly staff. A gem of a find at the Pittsburgh airport… also going home with flavored olive oil from their specialty shop.

I have stopped in here several times while traveling through the Pittsburgh airport. Great food variety and friendly customer service. Wonderful international items prepackaged or fresh in the deli case. Their coffee and coffee drinks are made fresh to order and fast super friendly service from Joni today. Clean and everything displayed nicely. Great place to pick up and sandwich, deli meats and lunch items. They had a nice antipasto selection also. Joni even warmed my scone for me today!!!

Great real food in an airport!!! Surprise of all time. Tons of chocolate, Italian confections, quiche, panini, olives, salami, café. I could have stayed there a long time but the line was getting longer preventing me from asking more questions. Huge tipoff — the flight crews all seemed to stop there. Compared to the usual bad overpriced airport fare, this Bottega was an oasis of quality! Grazie

So much yum in this airport shop. They have the best chai latte, so much better than, and no long lines like the other coffee places in the main Concourse area. And the chocolates!!! The staff are always nice and have been very helpful with suggestions and information in the past.

Shop and Staff This shop is very well maintained. Both times I have been to the shop I noticed the floors were clean, tables were clean, and the stock was full. Being inside of a busy airport it is nice to see how clean everything feels. I love this place for the food they offer. I have posted a few pictures of the items I buy and they are the best things to eat. Both times now I’ve seen Nicole Koch. She is very nice, talkative, and respectful. I really enjoy talking to her because she encouraged me to buy the items I got hooked on. If she didn’t talk to me or suggest which items to try I never would of known the tasty treats this store has to offer. Food and Experience The thing that got me hooked to this place was the fruit, nut, and nougat bars. They are very good. The other things I really enjoy are the sliced meats rolled with cheese. I would have to recommend theses two things although they also have really good chocolate as well. Can’t wait till next time.

Very nice shop. All sorts of Italian foods, pasta, sauces, oils, candies, cookies, plus a deli with delicious panini, quiche, pastries and coffees. Have lunch and get some treats for later. Try the jellies and cream of pistachio spread. Cappuccino was excellent.

I visited this shop a few years ago and had subsequently purchase via mail order from them all with great experiences, but my latest experience was beyond horrible and I will never give this company a dime of my money again. Here are the facts by day: Oct. 26 ordered via phone. The person on the phone has to call me back 2 times after miss-entering the credit card. Little did I know they got the wrong home address also. Charge was $ 284.60 Nov 4. Contacted and asked where my stuff was, leaving a message Nov 5. Emailed management asking where my stuff was. Nov 7. Finally got email back from someone saying«The FedEx call tag # is 997355250015975. I attempted to track this number and nothing came up which means they probably have yet to pick up the package from the address it got sent to.(I believe it was 1625 Hewitt Ave instead of 1652 Hewitt Ave). The supervisor that spoke to FedEx is not in today so I am waiting to hear back from her but I wanted to reach out to you and give you the information I do have. Sorry for the inconvenience.» Nov 10. I called again no respond on what was being done. Nov. 11 I called Fedex to find out the details. It was explained that, Fedex needs keep trying to get the package a few more times. I knew given where it was delivered that it would not be returned(student housing). I received a call from the store finally telling me that they will check with Fedex again. Nov. 12 Still no contact from the store with details but I see Fedex attempts via email from Fedex. Fedex leaves a message saying they have given up at about 1PM. I call the store to leave a message saying what Fedex told me and they will get back to me and manager is not in. Nov. 14 I call the store in the AM and asked when the manager will be in and ask for a call back Nov. 14 Manager calls me and I am offered a choice of refund or partial shipment now and partial in Dec. I ask for a refund. Today is Nov. 17th. Nothing has been applied to my card. I just checked. I have open a dispute with the merchant via Visa. DONOTSHOP with these people except at the store!!!

Thank you for releasing us from the tyranny of fast food and disinterested establishments who figure they can ‘mail it in’ since they’re in an airport. You’ll pay a bit more; but you’ll actually enjoy what you are eating/drinking. More like this please!

I seriously think this is the best latte I’ve ever had in my life. I’m a huge Stumptown coffee snob for all you PNW people out there, and it pains me to say it, but this might be better. Oh. My.

A lifesaver for fast food restaurant chain-haters like myself. Maybe the best thing to ever happen to the Pittsburgh airport. Only complaint is that there’s not enough seating.

What a treat at the airport. I’ve flown through Pittsburgh several times this fall and am so glad I bumped into Bottega. Super folks who know great artisan food. Prices are steep but they curate an amazing selection of groceries. Prices on prepared foods are very reasonable though. What I love is the killer deli. They also have pastries, cookies and pretty sweets to go. Pittsburgh pride — they even have mega-size buck eyes. I’ve had the tomato and Sun dried tomato panini three times.(Another vegetarian option would be welcome. Hint hint.) I’ll get that again next time I fly through I’m sure. The cappuccino is delicious and very well made.

Not your typical airport shop. As a foodie, I was actually surprised this place even existed in Pittsburgh airport. It is a store more suitable for some upscale suburban mall. And since I live in Pittsburgh, I am really sad I can’t come here often without having to fly somewhere! By now you can guess this place is awesome for foodies. The coffee is so much better than the typical Starbucks fare, the Panini artisan and the deli treats heavenly for that inflight snack or for the last minute gift for that discerning relative you are visiting. Everything you get here will make you look like a gourmand !
