Here’s a great idea for a beautiful day, the Café at the Point is a newly opened(Sept. 2011) limited service restaurant with outdoor seating in Pittsburgh’s historic Point State Park. The food is Lebonese/Middle Eastern and quite delicious. The building itself is fascinating, it’s a LEED certified Green Building that looks more like a sculpture than a café. There are moss/plants growing on the sides and roof that cool the café and help it blend in with the park. Best way to get to the café is definitely by bicycle.
