My brother is smitten with Dunham’s…and I can see why! I visited other area Dunham’s Sports locations during my high school days and recently got reacquainted with this regional chain of retail sporting goods stores. Good to be back. Husband and I walked into this location a few weeks ago hoping to purchase PA fishing licenses and water shoes.(Brother suggested water shoes for fishing rather than waders, which are risky and pricier; he was right about that too.) I was surprised that Dunham’s doesn’t sell fishing licenses – we drove a couple miles down the road to the new Dick’s location to get those – but was thrilled with the inexpensive and decent selection of men’s and women’s and children’s water shoes. And even better, most of the store’s inventory of flip-flops, sandals, and water shoes were on display in the clearance section right inside the front doors. My guy and I both got water shoes for about $ 16.00 total. We’d been in a hurry and didn’t have much time to browse for anything other than what we came for, but I did notice very reasonable prices everywhere I looked. Also, Dunham’s isn’t shy about offering coupons; for example, my Entertainment membership offers Dunham’s coupons online as well as in the hard copy Entertainment coupon book, and coupons print out on Dunham’s register receipts.
