Horrible! The staff are all clueless and possibly all on drugs. The cashier did not know what tonic water was or why they would have it in the store! Seriously! Most of the time they are screwing around with each other or just talking to their friends across the counter rather than waiting on customers. I don’t know who manages this store but they need fired. Don’t even get me started on how filthy the store is at all times. I would never eat anything from their MTO counter… gross! The front door glass looks like people spit on it and it’s never cleaned… so freakin dirty! They should implode the store. One star is too much.

I stop here a lot, probably 8 – 10 times a month and it had steadily gone downhill. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and a 3.5 in egg salad hoagie… it was the only order. It took over 15 minutes because the person making it was so busy texting. The egg salad hoagie was tasteless and the toppings I requested were non existent so into the garbage it went. The cashier did me a favor by taking my money. What a disappointing experience. I guess I will try the one further down carson. Really disappointing.

I’ve been here at various hours and I’ve received nothing but good service. The cashiers have always seemed friendly and the food preparers have been pretty courteous as well. The location is kinda awkward as it’s in the middle of a residential area with a few businesses thrown in but no complaints here… it works and is very convenient. Proof others feel the same way as the door is constantly swinging as I sit here in front typing this review. A few mentions… there are no gas pumps and for good reason as there is no room. There’s a redbox and rock salt for the blizzard/ice storm that’s coming… you know how Pittsburgh rolls! Lol Also out front is the free air machine in case you need to pump it up… your tire, that is. Visit and support this location. Places like this just add convenience to city living. On top of that, if I can get courteous service too… the business is a winner in my book.

Not sure if everyone that works here is on hardcore drugs or what but I literally felt like I was dealing with completely incompetent people. It took 35 minutes for chicken on bread. Yes, chicken on bread. I live on 18th so it’s a quick stop for me on my way home from work. NEVER will I stop here again. It is an absolute pathetic excuse for whatever you wish to call it.

I remember when this was CrossRoads and actually had gas pumps. I must admit, smart move getting rid if the gas pumps and just being a convenience store. That lot it sits on is just too small for all that was going on there. As far as the convenience part, it’s spot on. Able to walk in here and grab a snack or drink while you’re walking the southside. Feels a bit safer walking the parking lot too. Not having to dodge all those cars is a plus.

Wish they had gas, but I understand that the space is limited. This is a much better option when compared to the Cogo’s for quick items when meandering around the Southside. Great for a stop when you are walking the dog for a beverage or small items you may need quickly when cutting down the back roads to drive home. MUCH cleaner than other SS options!

On 18th Street on the South Side… This is a great place. It is bright and pleasant, has a wide selection, free ATM, and the sandwiches I ordered here with my daughter were delicious. I chose the tuna with a little apprehension but I love tuna and was really in the mood. I could not believe how great it was. Fresh, plentiful, and high quality. Oh and the employees are really nice.

My convenience store of choice on the south side. It took me several weeks to realize that you can use your Giant Eagle rewards card here.
