Jack + Jules

Jack + Jules is a cool boutique shop right in Lawrenceville. It’s got a great vibe with lots of cool manly décor, but sells both men’s and women’s apparel.
I think the items in the shop are great. Are the expensive, absolutely. Did I buy anything while I was there? Heck no. Did I want to? Of course. The shop had so many cool things but I also remembered that rent was due and I couldn’t spend $ 80 on a sweatshirt. I did love it though.
Customer service was on the meh side which is a bummer because I love supporting and spreading the word about local business, especially in Pittsburgh. Maybe she had a bad day, but a, «have a nice day» goes a long way when you get one; and for the record I did not, or really any assistance for that matter.
What I like about this place is that it may be one place in the area to make Yinzers stylish. People of the 412 aren’t known for their flashy threads, so if they really wanted to, they could come through here and kind of reinvent themselves into a more stylish them. Yes, it’ll cost them, but they’ll look great.

Jack + Jules has it all! After several miss experiences at the other nearby boutiques, I was so impressed with the friendliness of the Jack + Jules shop owner and with her product assortment. My friend kept eyeing some cute colored sateen jeggings while I couldn’t take my eyes off the jewelry. The pricepoints are a little high — and selection is limited — and neither of us ended up making a purchase. However, I would definitely come here again!

It’s not as easy as you’d think to find a boutique in Pittsburgh that not only caters to young people but does so while staying on top of the trends that matter. The owner, Julia has GREAT taste in both men’s and women’s style and is as nice as you can imagine. It’s hard to find something you don’t like there and the price point is great. Think New York trends on a Pittsburgh budget. Can’t speak highly enough about the selection and overall experience.

One of my favorite little boutiques to visit… Between No. 14, here, Jay Designs and La Gourmandine, this little end of Butler St has it going on.
What I love here is that both myself and my husband can get unique stylish pieces at one place. The selection at Jules is good and ever-​changing. She prices things more than fair as well. I once got an adorable Maison Scotch dress here that was also available at Nordstroms… And saved $ 25. That’s more money for some more sweets at La Gourmandine for me! We also love that there is some Original Penguin stuff for the guys here (since Pgh doesn’t have a store yet and the big stores often don’t have great pieces).
A great shop, a great selection despite being a small boutique, more than fair prices and a sweet owner with fabulous taste make for a great experience here. I suggest checking it out if you have never been here.
I also wanted to add this– we visited here today and I couldn’t be more impressed with the fact that Jules herself recalled one of my purchases from several visits ago and offered suggestions and pointed out the items that we may not have yet seen. That’s excellent customer service in my opinion. I can’t wait to see the Spring stuff that will be coming in!

Thoughtfully curated selection of men’s and women’s clothes. Small boutique — smart and hip without being hip*ster*. I bought a Fred Perry cardigan there that I am wearing probably 3 times a week now. Big win!

I love the clothing and accessories that Jules carries. It’s like being in an awesome boutique in New York right in the middle of my little city! The staff is always very helpful and attentive.

I love both the mix of clothing and price points that Jules carries. They hosted a vintage jewelry trunk show (for my company Sweet & Spark) last year and we had such a great turnout. The owner, Julia is awesome to work with!

We can talk all day about how many great breweries are opening up, but what about the boutique scene?! We’ve really got some fabulous shops popping up in the Burgh!
I must admit, It took me a while to come in here. Truthfully, I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to afford it. While there are pretty expensive items here, I found things that I was comfortable spending my money on.
Were the things I bought sale items? Yes! But I did see regular priced items on the very high end, and some that weren’t too bad. I was very excited to see one of my fave designers, House of Harlow there, as well as dogeared jewelry.
I’m excited to check things out season to season… Okay, let’s be honest. I’ll be there sooner than that!

Jules is an awesome boutique right in Lawrenceville! Super cool vibes as soon as you walk through the door. Julia (the owner) is so helpful and will direct you to whatever you’re looking for and answer any questions you have. Really cool line up of men’s clothing too.
