We used James Campbell as our photographer for our wedding in June of 2010. I’ll start by saying that he took some great shots, but… We obviously paid for everything up front before the wedding, so there is no excuse as to why we still haven’t received everything that we paid for! To start, in his«contract», we were supposed to get our CD2 weeks after the wedding. Well we went on our honeymoon, still nothing. We’d call and he’d lie(it’ll be done by Monday… Monday would come and go. It’ll be done by 6 tonight… Well, almost 2 months later, we finally got our cd. Also, we paid for nice albums. One for my husband and i and then also 2 parent copies. I feel that honesty is the best policy. Don’t lie to me! This is where the fun really began. So, after we got our CD, James pretty much fell off the face of the earth. We’d call… no response. We’d email… no response. Let me add, also, that I am the most laid back person and my patience had been worn thin by this point because when you spend a lot of money on something, you want the product! Luckily, my friend is a lawyer, so I had her take a look at our contract, which had completely been unfulfilled. She wrote a letter and I was ready to go to small claims court. I sent the letter certified, so I knew he received it, and a few weeks later he decided to finally get back to me through email. Well, the lies began again. He did send the layout for the albums, but would say, «Oh, yeah they’ll be done in 4 weeks.» We wanted to give the parent albums as Christmas gifts… haha. Then we wanted to give them as Mother’s Day gifts.haha. We’re shooting for next Christmass at this point! Three months later, we finally accomplished a minor victory. We got my husband and I’s album. When he emailed me saying that our album was done, in that same email he said that our parents’ albums would be done next week. Well, here we are over a month later and still no parent albums. Our anniversary is in a couple of weeks and we still haven’t received all of our albums. This guy is a JOKE!!! Please whatever you do, save yourself ALL the hassle and find someone else! His business ethic is terrible and a customer shouldn’t ever have to go though all of this trouble to receive something that they paid for A YEARAGO!!! Oh, p. s. in one of his emails he said that he was going through financial trouble… so please don’t trust this guy to do photos on the most special day of your life!
