I have been here twice. I am shocked as well that there are not more reviews.
This place has great food. Both times i have ordered a fish sandwich. The first was
Tim’s Fish Sandwich — Breaded Cod, Swiss Cheese, and Grilled Onions — Very Good Sandwich.
Fish Pub — See picture — is your classic Pittsburgh Sandwich — Very Very Good as well
There is always a crowd in the restaurant with TV’s everywhere. They have a good selection of Craft Beer (not on tap but in bottles).
This is going to be one of my new mainstays while I remain in Pittsburgh.

Having lived in DMV for years I’am extremely picky when it comes to crab cakes…
I really, really, really enjoyed crab cakes at JD’s. I received two generously specked ‘cakes. That were not over seasoned, and not loaded down with bread crumbs n $&&!. The crab cakes were just very tastey.
There’s also a pretty decent beer selection.

We waited 48 minutes for our meals. Husband ordered a Reuben and received a Turkey BLT. Server offered to replace it but we thought it would take too long. The portobello mushroom and garlic pasta had the equivalent of at least 8 garlic cloves in it and was inedible. Server would not take the Turkey BLT off the bill even though we didn’t order it. This is not a customer-​oriented restaurant. Will not go there again.
