They don’t do a good job explaining the procedures. I came here to figure out if my vision was causing me to have migraines and they couldn’t explain whether my vision of medical insurance should be used. The best part, it took them 6 months to actually send me a bill. Why it took that long? I have no idea… I live less than a mile away.

This place is really odd. Sometimes the people in the office are really nice and sometimes they act like you are intruding in their private time when you are standing there waiting at the desk while they finish chatting about their private lives. The Dr. is strange also. He is brisk and abrupt. He proceeds without telling you what he is doing. 9 months ago I had an eye doctor tell me I had a slight beginnings of a cataract. And this guy told me I had cataracts and was trying to convince me to have surgery. I have since gotten a second opinion, and it is still a very slight cataract not interfering with my vision. He did do a good job with the glasses prescription though, but I would not let him touch me for surgery.

«Dr.» Troy M. Karlik is a huge imbecile! He wouldn’t make eye contact and that should’ve been the first red flag. He treated me like I was a huge burden and was completely rude. He announced, with the door open and people in the waiting area, that I might have glaucoma. He was completely insensitive about it. Instead of telling me what the next steps should be or reassuring me, he bashed the people who did my Lasik procedure and tried to blame my parents for the possible glaucoma — sorry, no one in my family has it. Oh and when you dilate someone’s eyes, it’s best to tell them what’s going on, what to expect, etc. That’s what a good doctor does but how can I expect you to understand that? Karlik is completely incompetent and I truly hope this operation gets shut down.
