Average kmart. Had a few run ins with low class white women. Many don’t seem to bother to shower or comb their hair who shop here. Rude young people.

As K-Marts go, this one is actually pretty darn nice. Most K-marts feel like disorganized apocalyptic wastelands– yeah, I know, harsh. It’s true though. This one is pretty well stocked, pretty well organized, and has a decent selection. I was surprised to see that they sell oil filters back in the automotive section, something I never really noticed before. But this trip was not for an oil filter, oh no. This trip was for the worst part of any store like this– the makeup section. I needed an ELF brand setting spray(because it’s cheap and a dupe for the higher end, $ 20 a bottle brands). Anyway, I dread the makeup section every time, because in most stores it’s a wasteland. Usually, there will be nail polish all over the place, broken, opened, or swatched products all over, it’s dirty, and just a general nightmare. This was the nicest makeup section I think I have ever seen in a Walmart or a KMart. It was clean, well stocked, and the displays were full of products without cracks in the powders, opened packaging or fingerprints. So awesome job, Kmart. I found what I needed quickly and was happy with the purchase. I did go and check out the rest of the store, and it looked the same as the makeup section. Clean, organized, and pleasant. I will be back, for sure!

I’ve often wondered who shops at Kmart anymore. How the heck do they stay in business what with competition from Walmart and Target? My mom used to drag me to the ones in Edgewood and Monroeville. Yikes! Although I did love the candy & popcorn counters. So I never thought I’d set foot in another Kmart, however the office I was working at needed a few last minute supplies. It looks like Kmart has upgraded some of their merchandise but not enough to make me wanna come in here on a regular basis.
