Everything the other guy said is true. Waited for almost year to get a watch… when something finally came, they sent the wrong watch. I wanted my money back. They said NO. Now I am spending money on a lawyer to try and get some of my money back. Do yourself a favor… get a different watch.

It’s amazing that the one review here gives 5 stars and doesn’t seem to have actually done any business with this company. I have and unfortunately I never received a watch due to consistent delays over the course of 3 – 4 months and I was then hit with a 30% «non-refundable» deposit fee so I was out $ 495. I was assured that it would be available if I wanted to come back and order again but I can say that there is slim to no chance of me doing that. Their communication is horrible and I would recommend never dealing with this company there are far better small watch makers popping up all over the US who are happy to have your business. These people obviously have no clue about customer service.

Okay, I confess, I LOVE watches, I’m a watch geek. I’m a freaky watch geek. I own 20 watches, I can’t go by a jewelry counter without drooling over the Tags, the Invictas, the Movados, and the Stuhrlings. A watch company right here in Pittsburgh is The Kobold Watch Company run by Michael Kobold, a young, 30 something watch maker who is making headlines with his watches. These watches are out of my price range, they start at a few thousand and go all the way up to fifteen thousand dollars. His watches are beautiful and all hand made by only ten people who work at his factory. His watches have been seen on actors in The Sopranos, and many movies. the actor who played Tony Soprano bought everyone involved in the last episode a Kobold watch. His design style is unique with most watches being diver style with most coming with leather straps. He’s also been known to use eel, alligator, and ostrich. Most people would love to add a Rolex to their collection, I want a Kobold watch. Ahh, maybe someday!
