This place would get five stars, but I think the prices are a little steep for some of the juices! That being said, the juice is delicious and I really appreciate how the ingredients are organic and locally sourced. Not something you would expect to find in a the lobby of an office building! I highly recommend the Spicy Lemonade! After a not so healthy weekend it’s my go to for lunch to get my system back on track.

Great fresh-pressed juice with very intriguing flavor combinations(I got carrot-pineapple-bell pepper-ginger) and locally produced. Only two drawbacks: a bit pricey($ 8.50 for a 16 oz bottle puts it in luxury territory) and hard to find: look on the 1st floor of the Frick building on the corner of 5th and Grant. It’s in the lobby of an office building and you won’t see it advertised from outside.

Downtown was dying for a place like this! Yes, it’s a little pricey at $ 8 for 16 oz., but yes it’s also delicious! I haven’t tried any food choices although the menu does seem tasty. The Beet juice is my absolute favorite juice, a perfect afternoon pick me up instead of coffee or tea!

What a great addition to the Downtown cold pressed juice scene! The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Their variety is simple yet well rounded. All juices are perfectly chilled. Along with the juices on their site, they also offer granola bars, fresh salads, and locally made yogurt. Juices, smoothies and nut milks are all $ 8. I’ve tried most of their products and this is what I think of each: Green #1: Pear, Cucumber, Romaine, Lemon, Kale. The cucumber and lemon are strong in this blend. The kale and romaine taste isn’t overpowering and the pear is the perfect amount of sweetness. This is my second favorite juice. Green #2: Spinach, Parsley, Apple, Kale, Celery, Lemon. My favorite! Holy health punch! Great blend and not as sweet as Green #1. This is a common green blend with most juice bars but Local Press really hits the nail on the head. The parsley addition is perfect and well balanced with the rest of the ingredients. Carrot(Carrot, Orange, Ginger) & Beet Blend(Beet, Carrot, Apple, Ginger, Lemon, Parsley): The ginger is strong in these two. Yum! I enjoy that taste but I know it isn’t for everyone. Spicy Lemonade: I like to start my day with this or grab it mid-morning for a good pick me up. Great for digestive health and not overly sweet with the agave. Pgh Punch: Pineaaple, orange, blackberry, lavender– I’ve tasted this but I’ve never bought one because it’s too sweet for my preference. The lavender pairs so well in this blend– great for fruit lovers! Almond Milk: Almond, coconut flakes, madagascar vanilla, dates, cinnamon– YUM! I can’t say enough good things about this milk. I’ve had a cashew version at other juice bars and I wish they offered it here! I haven’t tried the smoothies yet because the ingredients haven’t been avaiable when I’ve stopped in. Bummer :(I assume this’ll improve when the kinks of opening a new business get worked out. Business hours, too. Site says 7:30am but some mornings I’ve had to wait until 9am to stop over. Also important to note: they recycle the glass bottles so take them back! I’ve been promised a credit program will be rolled out in the future! Keep up the great work, Local Press!!!

This juice set up is in the lobby of the Frick building. I happened to stumble in there and stopped to talk to Rhiannon. She’s fabulous and is so great at answering all your questions about the juices and snacks. Ask for a sample if you’re curious! I tried the beet juice and it doesn’t taste like plain beets. I clearly tasted some ginger in there(along with other flavors), which was refreshing. This juice is so fresh! They also have coffee and tea here, water bottles, salads to go, and a few snacks. It’s a compact set up but as you come up to the counter it’s inviting and full of life. I got a chance to grab a coffee and it was perfect. If you’re in the building or walking past go ahead and stop on by. It’s worth it!
