Simple choice. After searching around for someone to upholster fabric to my motorcycle seats I found this company. Having no experience with upholstery in the past I was not sure what to expect. They were quick, did great work, and were very polite and accommodating. The price was much lower than other places quoted me, and I the workmanship was of fantastic quality regardless. Would recommend to anyone looking for fairly priced upholstery services.

My driver’s seat in my BMW started cracking and alas, it turned into a split. Ghetto, I know. Despite all the leather creams and conditioners I put on over the years, this happens? WHAT? So I was ticked off. I found a place that promised a way to «patch» or fix it. One look and they declined. However, they suggested I take it to McGowan — an auto upholstery specialist. In fact, that’s what they call themselves — McGowans’s Auto Upholstering. They do custom interiors for cars, boats, etc. So I had the owner Andrew take a look. He said, yep, I can replace this panel and this panel and oh, by the way, we should replace this panel on the back that looks to be getting weak and could crack as well. I could hear the $$ in my mind racking up. So I asked for the cost — I about dropped over. It was so cheap!!! Almost to the point that I worried about what kind of workmanship I’d get for that! But not to worry! I dropped the car off, picked it up the next day and was blown away with the quality of the work, the leather match, the fact that he even replaced an additional section at no charge! Now I’m riding clean and proud! If you ever need auto interior work done, McGowan’s is THE place to go.

I have a Chrysler Sebring, 1998. Two years ago the back window was busted and I repaired it from *ANOTHER* auto upholstery company. They told me I had to buy a completely new top for my convertible: $ 1000. It happened again. I busted my back window(now I know to NEVER put anything in that back area) I think the owner’s name is Jim — but I am not sure. His last name is the name of the business. This was perfect service. He told me that I only needed to buy a back panel and with parts and labor it added up to $ 525. A painful mistake, to say the least, but I am glad that I found McGowan Upholstery. I have to mention that when I was calling around for quotes, they were also the least expensive — by about $ 45 dollars.
